Is it starting all over again from scratch?
I seriously can't believe I might actually finally sit down and get through the first episode...🍿🙂🙂

Caught it yesterday. Honestly? Nothing to write home about. I mean, it wasn't terrible, but it definitely didn't blow my mind or anything.🤷 There’s just this... I don't know, a missing piece? Something's off, but I really can't be bothered to overanalyze it right now.🙂
Look, I trust Pavičić—I really do—but I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend this to everyone under the sun.

The director is Sergei Parajanov—he's an Armenian born in Georgia. Such a fascinating guy, and man, his movies are next-level art house stuff.
There's actually a whole thread about him under the movies section. I haven't caught "The Color of Pomegranates" yet, but I've seen some of his other work—some random nice person on a forum sent me those links. Where'd you hear about it?

Man, I actually had "Ashug-Karibi" in my bag once—then some jerk swiped it right at the airport before I even realized it was gone... It was only like 5 bucks, so whatever, not a huge financial hit, but it honestly just sucks because I didn't even get to enjoy it properly first... anyway, if anyone happens to have one of his films they could stream or send my way, it would be absolutely legendary :klap: 🙂 🙂

So, has anyone here actually heard of this director? Like, have you guys sat down and watched any of his stuff?
I've caught bits and pieces about him here and there—heard the hype—but I still haven't managed to sit through a single one of his films. Honestly, I'd love to hear what the real cinephiles in here think...🙂
