The thing is, I used to only have a bootable Acronis CD, but now that I’ve got the full version, I can handle everything just as easily as I did with PQDI, no sweat. Still, out of pure curiosity, I’d love to figure out what went wrong, even though I don't plan on sticking with PQDI anymore.😎 🙂
I’ve also got PowerQuest Drive Image 7, which used to work flawlessly—you don't even have to leave Windows to create an image (unlike ATI 8, where you have to reboot and hit F11). Lately, though, it keeps telling me it can't find the Virtual Drive. I've scoured the entire internet and tried everything under the sun, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know what's going on? It feels like a pretty common headache with this software.😠 😕 😕
When I run a > using Acronis True Image, I save everything into an Acronis Secure Zone. This zone sits on its own partition and stays completely hidden from all other applications. If a virus hits my system and wreaks havoc, and I can't wipe it out manually, I just perform an image restore. In that scenario, what actually happens to the virus?😕
