Maybe she’s just drawn to the colors on the flag? Specifically that red... since she headed over to Germany before they showed up with a flag that's got way more red on it.
Overall, I had a blast! Only downside was the rain, but we were camping in tents so we didn't get too soaked. Cave was definitely the highlight for me, plus the atheist rap, Tinariwen, and Let3 were killer too.
Just landed: our newest lineup addition for the KROQ Stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (June 3rd & 4th, Los Angeles). It’s Jazzanova —basically the legends of the Berlin scene. These guys basically invented the vibe for nu-jazz, chillout, and jazz house, blending everything from deep Brazilian rhythms and classic jazz to African beats, downbeat, and even some techno... absolute icons.
The lineup for this year's Coachella VIP Experience (June 3rd and 4th) just keeps getting better. Even the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are hitting the Budweiser Stage at Central Park...
Just got another update from the Coachella VIP crew about who's hitting the lineup for the June 3rd and 4th weekend at Central Park. Looks like Fela Kuti & Egypt 80 are taking over the Apple stage as the main act.
So they're basically the second headliners now? The announcement says "main acts" on the Apple stage... weird.
Hit the club on Saturday night... absolute blast. They started around 11 PM and kept the energy up until like 1:30, but I totally forgot to snap any pics. Anyone catch anything on camera?
How do I grab a discounted ticket? Am I supposed to text some number or what? I'm looking online right now and there's zero info... just trying to snag a deal before they're gone.
They really ought to drop the rest of the names soon since tickets go on sale this Monday. It’s pretty useless to push sales when nobody even knows who’s actually hitting the stage yet.
