just pick whichever one works better for you
Pick one of those two.
And seriously, why is it such a huge deal that the audio and the slideshow finish at the exact same time?
What's the harm in just setting a slide duration to 15 seconds??
I'm not losing anything! I just want the audio to stop when the slideshow ends!

I'm just not sure if it remembers decimals or if it rounds everything up.
It doesn't remember decimals—and by the way, "rehearse timings" was translated as "presentation timing test" in the American version of PowerPoint 2003.
...so now I finally see why anyone would bother clicking every 14.6 seconds!
I tried adding two audio files to a presentation with quite a few slides, but it totally failed—every single time I start the slideshow, both audio tracks play at once, even though I specifically set it so the second one starts after the first. Any idea what's going on?

You can definitely fine-tune those kinds of settings there.
I haven't messed around with that software yet. Is there a free version available online?
