Hi ladies,

I’ve been on Yaz for six months now and just had some blood work done for my check-up.
Everything came back normal, except for these:
Fibrin monomers 2+
And my fibrinolysis-euglobulin test was 110, so I’m wondering what might be causing that.
I have a follow-up appointment next week, and I must admit, I’m feeling a bit anxious.
I am definitely not pregnant—I even took a test just to be absolutely certain.
However, I noticed online that positive fibrin levels combined with decreased fibrinolysis can sometimes be interpreted as a sign of pregnancy.
Is it possible that this is simply a side effect of the pill?

Thanks in advance for any insight!!
How to switch OB-GYNs: What's the process? in Women's Health ·
coastalmarlin64 said:How do you switch gynecologists when none of them will take you on, even though they haven't reached their patient limit? In other words, they have fewer patients than the official cap.
The cap is 7,500, and they’re sitting under 7,000, yet the answer is still no. It’s like trying to find an open seat in a half-empty theater. Your best bet might be joining a waiting list and staying persistent for a few years—paying for private visits in the meantime might eventually nudge them to accept you through Medicare.

We called the legal department at Medicare, and they just vaguely mentioned we could file a formal complaint.
But I worry that if we actually file a grievance, we'll end up being blacklisted...

Does anyone have any advice? 🙏

There are openings with Dr. Assad in North Philly or Dr. Lukenda over in South Philly.

You head there with your insurance card, tell them you want to transfer your care, and get a referral paper. Take that to Medicare, get the confirmation, and then circle back to the new doctor.
