Look, just build the best protection you can. It doesn't need to be anything fancy—maybe just have the program refuse to run if it detects it isn't an original copy or something along those lines. Once that's done, launch the sales push. Put it on a torrent site. People will download it, complain about why it isn't working properly, and then end up buying the legitimate version.
Studies show that users of P2P services (torrents) are actually 40% more likely to purchase original software and music than those who don't use them.
So, if someone truly loves what you're offering, they'll buy the original. Just like I did. 🙂

I honestly love the fact that even in this raw and brutal world, there are still people willing to step up and help someone in need.
Thank you so much. I have no idea how you stay so well-informed, but it doesn't even matter 🙂 because I haven't been able to find this much info or these specific locations anywhere else on the web, yet I found them all in a single post.
Thanks again, truly.
Also, if you happen to know, what’s the going rate for a 1mx1m sheet of plexiglass? 🙂

Hey everyone, I have some massive plans involving PC modding. To be honest, standard modding doesn't really grab me; I’m actually thinking about building my own custom chassis from scratch.
The only thing I haven't figured out yet is how to panel the enclosure. I thought about using frosted white Plexiglass, but I’d prefer something a bit easier to work with (even if it means sacrificing a little structural integrity). Does anyone know of a material like that? Just a heads up—metal is definitely off the table.🙂
Since I'm planning on doing everything myself, I'm going to need a ton of tools and even more supplies. I'd really appreciate any help you can give. I just need names of as many shops as possible where I can pick up what I need: screws, aluminum blocks, precision cutters, hard rubber, soft rubber, perfboards with pre-drilled holes so I can solder LED diodes onto something, a soldering iron, and any other gear that might come in handy.
If anyone knows where I can find any of this stuff, I'd be super grateful (and please, stick to shops in the Washington, D.C. area. I don't find advice like "just go to any electronics store" very helpful).
Thanks in advance. 🙂
