I actually sat down with some buddies from the Armada to ask them why they’re so wound up, and their answer was basically just: we hate Hajduk, and we hate them with everything we've got.🤷

In this absolute slog of an MLS season—both on the pitch and with the fans—the local fan club and our San Diego squad are basically the only things worth looking forward to. Honestly, scoring a goal against us at Santa Monica, just like that last one? That’s the kind of stuff you remember for years. I really don't get why people try to downplay it...
Out of all the away games this year, the only ones that actually feel like part of the true supporter culture are the trips to Central Park, San Diego, and Indianapolis.

I gotta tell you, though, and I mean this from the bottom of my heart... I’ve traveled all over the country following the Kansas City Chiefs, and I swear, nowhere else—especially not in MLS—have I ever dealt with that kind of pathetic, cowardly stone-throwing coming out of the shadows. It’s been happening basically every single time for the last twenty years or so... actually, let's call it seventeen. Just constant, low-life nonsense.

The choreography was actually pretty killer, seriously, props to everyone who put in the work there... though I gotta say, the energy from the crowd felt a little flat, especially during the second half. Maybe it’s just me, maybe I missed something, but it felt a bit low-key...
