The "Papčinas" represent an advanced stage of the "papak" type—though the lower tier is usually just branded as simpletons. Unlike the real thugs, this romanticized crowd is generally more primitive and harmless—though, let’s be honest, that rule is frequently broken. Based on extensive field research conducted right on the streets, it turns out that once a "papak" mutates into a full-blown thug—which happens more often than people care to admit—the results can be downright dangerous. Their preferred career paths? Military, police, security guards, firefighters... basically any uniform they can get their hands on, plus whatever weaponry is available.
Sadly, this group was one of the most massive demographics in our former territories—so massive, in fact, that they actually forced the creation of a newly constructed district called "Upper Vežica"—essentially the "Great Wall of China"—where they established dominance overnight. You won't find any Chinese restaurants or lost bakers there, mind you, but the few "normal" residents left in that neighborhood are forced to listen to a dialect that sounds suspiciously like Chinese: instead of saying "here," "there," or "last week," in this Chinatown, they say: "nu, nuj, en ti neđelju…."—good grief! It is also worth noting that in this specific area, you’ll witness something truly unique: in all those trendy new cafes, instead of hearing Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin, you’re stuck with "Oj vjetre & co." blasting everywhere.
