My little one (4.5 years old) is dealing with some nasty intestinal virus... blood work confirms it's viral, and since he's been vomiting quite a bit and dealing with diarrhea, he hasn't really eaten much. Yesterday morning, his urine ketones were sitting at 15mmol/l.
Everything else seems fine, aside from his urine being a bit more concentrated than usual.
Should I be worried? He’s been eating again and drinking plenty of fluids, including Pedialyte, so he seems okay now. He gets a little restless right before the vomiting starts—he's always been a sensitive kid—but then it just hits him full force. Regardless, he doesn't look dehydrated to me.
But then again, I'm reading online that even 1.5 mmol/l of ketones in urine is considered high, let alone this...
The pediatrician mentioned he might need an IV, but said if he's doing better now, we could just come in for a follow-up tomorrow.
So, yeah... I'm just wondering if I should be panicking or not... thanks!
Best external hard drives to buy right now? in Computer Peripherals ·
We’re currently scrambling to scrape together enough cash to cover data recovery services because our WD Green just gave up the ghost for absolutely no reason at all 😠. Honestly, we clearly haven't learned our lesson yet... we aren't smart enough to know what actually works. We've sworn off WD entirely—no more Green, no more Black... nothing.

What we need is a 2 TB, 3.5" USB 3.0 drive
. Someone suggested grabbing a Samsung F4—just a standard internal drive tucked into an enclosure to act as an external one—but I can't find any in stock.
As for Adata, we couldn't even find anything in a 2 TB capacity
. We did track down a Seagate , but from what I'm reading, it seems like a total headache...

Does anyone here actually own that Seagate
? Or does anyone have a better recommendation?
Thanks!
