Huge congrats to everyone involved today, because man, that really made some serious noise! 🙏

The deadbeats over at the local network failed to show the choreography again, barely even catching a few shots of the North Stand and the fans—it’s honestly pathetic.
It’s almost as if they’re broadcasting for the opposition, focusing on nothing but useless, irrelevant footage.
On a separate note, the way the national broadcaster has been treating Hajduk over the last few years is practically parental, and I find it baffling that nobody seems to care about this blatant bias.

And I’ll mention one more thing, even though I know I’m going to get flak for it...

I’m proud of these kids just like everyone else, and I truly enjoy watching them more than those ungrateful, overpriced veterans, BUT I don't understand the hysterical celebrations when we just lost 0-3 at home, even if it was against an all-star world squad. Pride and optimism are one thing, and they definitely have their place, but this kind of frantic celebration is completely unnecessary.

Kudos to armada, that was an absolutely spot-on message! 👍

Are we really just going to ignore the Antifa trolls and those political activists out there?!
I don't want to hijack armada's thread, but wouldn't it be worth having a bit of a conversation about them?

Taylor Doyle52 said:Don't be ridiculous; I never said you couldn't root for another team—that would be insane—I was specifically talking about harboring actual hatred toward the city and the club in Seattle. I have plenty of friends who cheer for all sorts of different teams, and it doesn't bother me one bit that they happen to be from elsewhere because, honestly, nobody is responsible for their heritage or where they were born. But when someone actually lives in a city they claim to despise, surely you'll allow me to look down on them? Whether they are in Washington, D.C. or Warsaw, it's the same thing. I have nothing but respect for decent people, but hating your own surroundings and refusing to embrace the culture of the place you've settled into is something truly contemptible, and I will always call that out. On top of that, when someone struts around town flaunting the symbols of another place, exploiting the city's tolerance just to demonstrate how clueless they are... well, isn't that basically the "No Pasaran" moment? As far as I'm concerned, those types should just head back to whatever stadium they came from, and I can guarantee nobody is going to miss them.

You corrected yourself pretty quickly, so I find myself agreeing with most of what’s being said here.
I'm not sure if you misspoke in your previous post or if you were just rushing through your thoughts, but you really stumbled into some nonsense there! 😉

Personally, I could never turn against my own city; it is utterly pointless to trash Seattle, Washington, D.C., or Indianapolis while actually living in one of them. If someone doesn't feel an affection for the city where they spent their formative years, made lifelong friends, and perhaps even fell in love... well, then that person is nothing more than a vain individual, if not a complete freak or an oddity. And I'll tell you this: the guys in The 12th Man who live in other cities maintain a profound level of respect and honor for the places they call home, regardless of the fact that they might have taken a few hits in the past or had to deal with a hefty bill when returning home after a Boston Red Sox game. 😉 Go ahead and correct me if I'm wrong, fellas.
On the flip side, it is entirely legitimate—and frankly, a core part of fan folklore—to scream your lungs out against opposing clubs; you yell against the Boston Red Sox, and I'll yell against Seattle, the New York Yankees, or Indianapolis... we're fans, not delicate flowers. And as for the fact that a club from a city not much larger than your Seattle manages to command an army of supporters and sympathizers across the entire United States? Well, that's a different story altogether, because as funny as it might sound, the Red Sox remains a massive, legendary institution! 😉

Taylor Doyle52 said:Back when I was serving in the military in '92, saying I supported Seattle earned me some pretty strange looks, but nowadays the whole sentiment has flipped, and honestly, I’m just embarrassed by those local parasites who live off this city every single day only to spit on it by rooting for teams from the other side of the country just because of some tribal, genetic connection. But that’s a conversation for another time...

Does Seattle provide more social welfare than other cities in America, making its residents somehow obligated by default to support the local team out of pity or respect, or am I missing something here? Nobody hands me my livelihood on a silver platter; I earn my own way with my own two hands, working myself to the bone and paying my fair share of taxes to the government, which means I can root for whoever I damn well please—that’s none of your business! Once you finally realize that all your life's frustrations aren't actually the fault of Georgians, Californians, Floridians, Midwesterners, or Plainsmen... trust me, life will be a lot easier for you; just mind your own business (and stop talking nonsense)! 😉
