Dealing with hemorrhoids – any advice?
in Health ·
Well, unfortunately, I’ve recently joined the club myself. 😢
I was diagnosed with a thrombosed hemorrhoid. In the beginning, it was about the size of a small hazelnut. My treatment plan consisted of Johnson & Johnson suppositories and some Hadensa cream. After finishing the course (10 days of suppositories plus 20 days of the cream), the hemorrhoid did shrink, but it never fully resolved itself. To make matters worse, over the last two days, I’ve noticed it starting to swell up again.
What should I do? What are my options here? I’ve already been to the doctor three separate times now, and honestly, I’m at my wit's end. Please, give me some advice—what kind of therapy works? Is it safe for me to continue with the Johnson & Johnson suppositories and the cream on my own, or would you recommend a different approach specifically for a thrombosed hemorrhoid?
I gave up alcohol a long time ago and I always walk home from work, but unfortunately, I have an office job where I'm stuck sitting down for eight hours a day.
