I am certainly not so reckless or thick-headed as to let that slip my mind! I really need to make up for all that wasted time. 🥳
Grace Sanders24 said:Hey, Mary. I haven't seen you in ages, and honestly, I'm glad because I know you've been out there living your best life and staying busy before finally settling down. ☕

Oh, please. If we’re being honest, I’ve actually overtaken you. Between all my marriages, I’m already on my third. It’s really not that big of a deal—you just sign the papers with some official, get to know them for a bit, and if it doesn't work? Divorce and peace out. Just do me a favor and don't go spreading word about my marital history, or people might start thinking I'm some reckless, impulsive mess. 🙂
Greetings

It feels more like spring than autumn right now.

Good morning!
I’m still standing my ground on this: that post needs to be removed. Someone is using it to slander me by calling me an "unfeeling monster"... and let's be clear, that was written as a direct reaction to my explanation. It's aimed right at me.

If we’re going to use some sort of arbitrary yardstick to decide that the phrase "shake up USA" was somehow offensive, then how on earth can we use that same logic to claim it isn't an insult to call another person an "unfeeling monster"? Apparently, according to certain people, one is a problem and the other is perfectly fine. That’s just great. Truly the gold standard for communication here on Reddit and the forum.

Let that individual go ahead and vent their rudeness elsewhere.
I’m going to insist that this post be deleted.

Look, I get it... it’s a bit much, but honestly? I still want that obnoxious post deleted immediately.

Honestly, I’ve already submitted this twice now... at this point, we should probably just treat this as an emergency filing.

Besides, speed is a virtue, isn't it? 🙂

I’ve already gone ahead and used the reporting tool to flag this offensive post. It’s an absolute disgrace—they’re trying to paint me as some kind of malicious sociopath or a complete monster, which is frankly disgusting and incredibly misleading. Since this is my first time actually reporting something on this forum, I’m honestly not even sure if I navigated the process correctly.

Look, we can certainly disagree on whether the headline was "disturbing" or not—everyone has their own way of handling stress, whether through escapism and denial or by facing things head-on—but I am not interested in filing any grievances regarding the chat rules. However, I am insisting that this vile piece of garbage be deleted immediately, or at the very least, I expect a formal explanation as to why it remains visible.

A friend of mine goes to those family constellation sessions, and honestly, when she talks about it, it sounds like little more than pseudo-shamanism to me. It works wonders for her, though... personally, I find psychodrama to seem a bit more "grounded," but it isn't cheap, and I have no intention of throwing my money down the drain.

Personally, I don't think this guy is a psychiatrist; it feels more like "self-help" coaching. That said, I am expecting some real breakthroughs regarding myself and how I interact with others... trying to figure out why I attract certain types of people or why my close relationships and family dynamics always seem to go south. Real deep issues here.

I've done everything—psychodrama, art therapy, meditation—you name it. 🕺

Oof
Let me see what everyone else thinks first...
Between the actual cost and the commitment required to show up in person, it's a significant investment.

While everyone else seemed to surrender to the process and reap the benefits of these workshops, I walked away with nothing.

I hear you.
It’s certainly no easy feat to open up and be vulnerable in front of a group like that.
But did you actually attend this specific one, or are you just considering it?

The price tag isn't exactly small, either—it's being run by a private practitioner, so... it’s one of those things that simultaneously attracts me and pushes me away.

I’ve been seriously considering joining a psychodrama group. My goal is to dive into my closest relationships—areas where things haven't exactly been smooth lately—and I’m fully prepared to look inward. If I can pinpoint exactly where my own behavior needs some recalibration, I want to do that work.

I would truly appreciate it if you could share your personal experiences regarding this process.

It would be about time we finally settled this matter once and for all. We need to penalize those who actually broke the rules and get the chat reopened. As it stands, the decent members of this community—the ones who actually follow the guidelines and visit the chat regularly—are being punished right along with the rule-breakers. 🤔

Punish the offenders and bring back the US chat. 🥱
