Well, it definitely must have slipped out. I mean—if there isn't a string visible and you can't find it, yet you're certain you used the mini one—then it’s just gone. 😉

Man... it was quite the scene
Just like when we were kids—everyone would swarm the convenience store at once. You’d have maybe two people actually paying, while everyone else just stuffed ice cream, candy bars, and whatever else they could find right into their pockets
I remember doing the exact same thing back in middle school... every single morning on my way to class, I'd duck into the corner store, buy one chocolate bar, sneak a bite out of it right then and there, and call it a day.
The last time was during my high school graduation trip. We were heading back from the beach, walked into the shop, and just started cramming ashtrays, souvenirs, and postcards into our bags... nothing useful, really, just impulse buys.
