Look, you're going to have to walk me through exactly why you think this beta version is any kind of improvement. Honestly, I tried running it myself, and it was an absolute disaster. I couldn't even get it to install on my localized version because I had to go through the massive headache of deleting the previous update that had switched my entire interface over to American English. And let me tell you, the file size is ridiculous—if I remember correctly, it’s easily 700 or 800 MB larger than a standard Windows XP installation with Service Pack 2 combined.

I ran into a nearly identical headache once, and you wouldn't believe the punchline. It turns out there wasn't even a SATA cable connecting the hard drive to the motherboard in the first place. The whole thing was bought from Best Buy.

Are you trying to install this on a virtual machine? Because if you are, don't hold your breath—none of it actually works. Even if the documentation claims it's compatible with a VM, 😁 😁 😁

Give nod 32 3.0 a shot. Even though it’s still technically in beta, it actually gets the job done quite well.
