I think I caught a glimpse of a shop out in Appalachia with an Everlast sticker in the window?? 🙂 .. I can't say for certain, though. Does anyone happen to know if that's a specific spot, or maybe any other place where I could pick up some gear from that brand?
Thanks a bunch
😛
Hmm... I was just scrolling through an online discussion where people were suggesting coating metal parts with clear nail polish to prevent reactions, and apparently, it actually works. But looking at my own watch specifically, every single component is made of stainless steel—if I'm reading the specs correctly. So, does that mean even this kind of metal could be triggering an allergy?

I also have this leather bracelet with metal clasps, and that causes a reaction too—and it isn't just limited to the spots right under the buckles.
Someone once tried to explain which specific metals cause these kinds of reactions, but I've completely forgotten what they said.
At this point, I've just stopped wearing cheap jewelry altogether.
Actually, the rash isn't spreading across my entire arm; it’s localized right on the side of my wrist, specifically where the watch strap sits. It isn't on the top part where the metal casing is, nor is it on the bottom near the clasp. I wonder if there's a connection there...😕

I am honestly a bit worried because there might not be much you can actually do about it.
So, I finally decided to upgrade my wrist game. Up until now, I’ve just been rocking those cheap plastic Swatch watches, which were fine, I guess, but I wanted something a bit more sophisticated. So, I picked up this new piece with a leather strap, and—well, damn—by the second day, my wrist is absolutely itching and breaking out in a rash. Is anyone else dealing with this? I’ve spent plenty of time on American forums looking up ways to deal with nickel allergies from metal bands and buckles, but I haven't found anything regarding leather. What am I supposed to do here? Does anyone know an online dermatologist who can weigh in on this kind of thing? Or is there actually a way to fix this without tossing the watch entirely? 😕
