I have a couple more things I wanted to clear up—to get my hands on that sleek Electron chip card, am I going to need to open a whole new foreign currency account, or can I just link it to the one I’m already using?

Also, is there some kind of monthly maintenance fee or anything similar just for holding onto the card itself?

So, here’s the deal... I’m trying to get into online sports betting, but I’ve hit a massive wall. I have my standard checking and savings accounts set up at Chase, and I was planning on using them to make my very first deposit. I even went as far as visiting two different local branches to ask how to pull this off—I even sent an email to their customer service department (or whatever they call those folks)—and everyone is giving me the exact same runaround! They all insist that making transfers to online accounts is impossible because it's "prohibited by law." To top it off, the customer service rep actually claimed that sending money abroad requires special authorization from the Federal Reserve... which, honestly, sounds like total nonsense to me.

For those of you who actually know what you're doing and have navigated this before, could you please explain how I can actually get my cash into an account?
