It’s not that I have anything against people from the East, but when you compare an average, radicalized Iraqi to, say, a Frenchman... I think there's really nothing left to be said.

I honestly believe bands can kiss any future success goodbye, at least in the West where people actually have some common sense left.

Just because the most popular acts today rely heavily on electronics doesn't prove anything. Trends are fickle by nature. Given that we've started seeing much higher quality live shows across the US lately 😉, I predict a resurgence for non-electronic bands. It won't happen overnight, but it's coming.

There's no doubt that non-electronic bands will see a surge in popularity across America, Canada, and all the way through to the rest of the continent. I can't blame musicians for playing without electronic backing when that's what the audience actually wants to hear...

That is exactly my point. Bands without electronic elements are practically useless, no matter how much... I don't know... inspiration they claim to have.

Besides, you can simulate every single instrument on a computer these days, so why bother buying gear or even bothering to learn how to play? It’s pathetic.🙂

With all this heavy electronic integration nowadays, it feels like traditional bands have lost their primary purpose...👎
