Complications after urological surgery

Does anyone know what kind of complications to look out for after a ureteral stent procedure? My sister had her first surgery 8 days ago, and just two days in, they told her the stent diameter wasn't right... so they had to redo it with a smaller one. She’s already been back under local anesthesia twice, and after the third attempt, she's still in a ton of pain. Plus, instead of wound drainage, urine is leaking from the drain site itself. If anyone has dealt with this or knows what might be going on, please let me know. Thanks so much...
