It took me a few months of actually using the card before I finally got some real answers. 😁
My credit limit gets slashed almost immediately—well, except for a handful of specific online retailers—but it definitely happens within a 24-hour window.
As for my transactions, most of them don't show up in the app for about 24 hours. There are exceptions, though, mainly with certain webstores or something like ExxonMobil—for instance, I filled up my tank on Monday, but the charge didn't actually pop up until Thursday.
Regarding the installment plans—back when I first applied, there was a field in the portal where you could select anywhere from 1 to 36 monthly installments or a 5% to 95% down payment.
I reached out to the bank directly, and they told me that because of all the lingering economic fallout from the pandemic, everyone new is being defaulted to the 36-month plan—though apparently, once you hit the six-month mark, you can request to lower it.

The youth package isn't tied to your employment status at all.
You get $25 until you hit age 25, then it bumps up to $70 by the time you're 29—and that’s the whole deal.

- How many transactions actually need to go through before they start showing up on my JPMorgan Chase app?
- Is it possible to change my PIN right at an ATM?
- Is it standard practice for them to set the default term to 36 months even though I specifically asked for 1? (When they told me the card was approved, they mentioned I’d have to file some sort of formal request if I wanted the single-month option—apparently, you can't just switch it immediately upon issuance.)

And they aren't even issuing those permits for elderly assistance. It all just boils down to "go contact the Red Cross."
