Everything he owns screams "Hotel California," and the joke of the night was when he announced he was about to play "Hotel California." Even better? At the end, he played "Where Is My Mind?" by Pixies, and it was so seamless you wouldn't even realize he wasn't playing "Hotel California." To paraphrase Paul Weller: "I'd rather eat dirt than go to another Blunt concert."

It’s such a bummer that once he finally gets his hands on it, I won't have anything left to settle up with Adam Moore. Man, life can be pretty cruel sometimes.
😁
Honestly, I’ve got plenty of fight left in me. You five could take me on all at once and still have energy to spare! 😎
The ultimate checklist if you want to be considered a true indie snob:
1. Spend your mornings scrolling through Pitchfork and only downloading albums that score at least a 7.5 2. Tell everyone else that Pitchfork is total garbage written by clueless elitists, and swear that if anyone gave *you* the keys to a music site, you’d actually do it right... 3. Look down on any band that manages to sell more than 500,000 copies 4. Memorize every single track on a Sonic Youth album and stubbornly insist that *Psychic Hearts* is way better than anything they ever released 5. Be in a band with a punctuation mark in the name (bonus points for an exclamation point!), know how to play one Pavement song (badly), and have a female bassist—because if you're a woman, god forbid, you *have* to be that bassist.
3. gnats by the riverbank 2. just installed NHL 06 and I have zero clue what's going on—I don't know which teams are actually good, what all those abbreviations mean, the controls are a mess, and I can't figure out how to manage the roster... even though the gameplay looks awesome. 1. my roommate

That red shirt was super puffy though! Kind of like a pirate shirt. A bit much?😍

why the hell would truck drivers even care about houses?
You might forgive anything else, but I am never letting that "EMO BUM" comment slide!!!!!!! 😠 dude, you're dead.
It honestly drives me nuts when people call someone "pretentious" just because they’re having a good time on stage and acting a bit goofy. To me, it felt like the exact opposite—the bassist, keyboardist, and guitarist were totally chill and just messing around, while the rest of the band stayed strictly professional. Maybe I just have a different definition of pretentious... but it seriously bugs me how much that word has become such a negative label. At this rate, calling someone "intelligent" will be the ultimate insult soon.
Anyway, enough of my rambling. Did you guys catch the bassist's shirt?! 😁 Man, what a vibe! And get this—boldscout72 is trying to snap a photo in front of the stage, and my girlfriend looks at him, then glances at the guitarist and goes, "Oh my god, they look identical!" 😁 She had one more observation, too—as soon as she saw how the guitarist and keyboardist were vibing together, she blurted out, "Look, they're totally flirting!" Ah, women. Honestly, she might even be right.
Man, that concert was killer. That one guy dancing was hilarious one second and totally driving me nuts the next, but honestly, they were awesome. Highlight of the night: Fisher tries to pop open a cold beer and there's a plastic seal under the cap!!! You should've seen their faces—they looked absolutely stunned! So funny!
Top 1 most bizarre thing that happened today on my drive from Miami to Atlanta:
1. I had to take the long way through Savannah - Augusta - Savannah because every single hotel on the interstate was booked solid two days in advance. So, seven hours of pure bumpy driving. And now comes the extra weird part: the guy sitting in front of me looked like he was auditioning for a patriotic fever dream. He was wearing a police cap, a varsity jacket, a yellow armband with "Security" scribbled on it in Sharpie, a white T-shirt featuring an American map, a massive wooden cross over his chest, and a tiny American flag pinned to his pocket. On top of all that, he had these wild bushy mustaches and huge ashtrays for ears. From Miami to Savannah—about four and a half hours—he sang nothing but national anthems, "God Bless America," and various old-school patriotic ballads at the top of his lungs! In between songs, he’d yell stuff like: "Man, if only those old-school leaders were still around, what times those were!" and "We are Americans, we've been here since the beginning, and thank God we still are!" He even went on about how he’s 37 years old, finished high school, worked ten years, served five in the military, and he's seen enough! He kept shouting about how certain political legends are souls of men, while claiming only specific past presidents were the real deal! "We have America! We don't need anyone else! Let them judge me in court, I'm ready! Everything for the US! July 14th and 15th are big anniversaries! I'm heading to DC to celebrate with all my patriots!" and so on. The whole experience was seasoned with constant saluting, throwing up both hands in some intense patriotic gesture, flashing peace signs, and wearing the most innocent, sincere smile I have ever seen in my life. At first, I wanted to lose it, but by the end, I actually felt bad for him. Seriously. Beyond bizarre.
