So, here’s the deal: I open up the DraftKings site and they’re flashing this offer at me for a 100% deposit bonus! So, I put my money down, and absolutely nothing happens. I reach out to support, and they basically tell me, "Oh, you were supposed to click a specific link or go to a certain landing page, then request a code, and then manually enter that code somewhere..." something like that. Why on earth wouldn't they just state those requirements clearly in the actual promotion text right there on their own website? To me, that feels like a total scam...
Regarding PokerStars, I feel like the terms were pretty straightforward, so I went ahead and agreed to them... and it was the same story with Bet365, though I suppose I just messed up myself by failing to copy the code from my email...
Honestly, DraftKings isn't really good at anything except marketing. Sure, they have a ton of niche props, like predicting how many people will be sitting in the 7th row or who's going to take the 69th corner, but most decent sportsbooks carry those kinds of markets anyway, and usually with much better odds.
As for poker, I mostly just play to kill some time—mostly $5 tournaments or low-stakes cash games...
Look, don't try to defend DraftKings if everyone else is saying it's garbage. I don't want to see anyone else get screwed over when there are much better sportsbooks out there...
I don't think you even need hard proof when the majority of people are saying the exact same thing across various sites and forums, aside from maybe a few outliers who probably benefit from DraftKings' promotion...

Benjamin Ward61 said:It’s pretty clear you haven't got a clue what you're talking about... You don't just get an instant bonus over there either; you have to grind through those star points first... and it’s the exact same deal with DraftKings. Even if you sign up through a "legit" link, like from some forum or whatever, on DraftKings you might see the bonus, but it doesn't actually hit your account until you "flip" it, meaning you've earned the points just like everywhere else! I'm not exactly out here playing defense for them, but I think you guys are being totally unreasonable. Maybe show some actual proof that we've all been getting screwed so we can all jump on the bandwagon and tear them apart together. 😁

Alright, now why don't you go back and carefully reread exactly what I wrote before you try to lecture me again...
You could at least offer an apology!😂

Benjamin Ward61 said:Honestly, you guys are acting like old busybodies with all this constant bashing of DraftKings. Look, if someone actually got screwed over, why don't they just post a screenshot showing they refused to pay out or straight-up stole their money? I’ll wait. Thanks in advance!

How exactly am I supposed to post a picture proving I didn't get my bonus?!!!??? You go to the site, and it tells you plain as day that you get a 100% match on your first deposit, but then once you actually put the money down, they suddenly explain that it doesn't work like that at all... fine! So I close the account and just sit there wondering how I could be so stupid for not listening to the people who had already been burned... basically, anyone who can warn people about them should, because they're nothing but a bunch of scammers...
Later, I open an account with PokerStars, and it clearly states you get a 100% bonus once you hit a specific amount of points within a certain timeframe—it's all transparent and straightforward... I open the account, and pretty soon, I'm expecting my bonus!

DRAFTKINGS MAFIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went ahead and opened an account at DraftKings too, and of course, I didn't get any kind of bonus because apparently you only qualify if you use someone's specific referral link through their main landing page and then go out of your way to recruit both of your aunts and some random grandpa... the odds they offer are honestly pathetic, usually hovering somewhere between 0.1 and 0.8, if they're being generous at all.....

I’ve played poker on the same site as well, and I've seen people in the chats claiming the house rigs the tournaments—saying there's always some player who joins the table right at the river just when you've pushed all your chips in, specifically to bust you. I mean, I didn't really buy into that nonsense until I actually had a chance to scoop up some decent money.... then it happened to me several times in a row... which, I guess, feels like a few too many coincidences for my liking...

And everyone says it's basically science fiction trying to actually pull money out of them, though unfortunately, I never quite made it to that stage of the game...🤣

Bottom line? DraftKings is a hard pass for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, now I feel a bit better getting that off my chest...😂
