The first week of the playoffs is officially in the books. It was an intense stretch, including those two overtime thrillers.👍 No one managed to hit four touchdowns.
Just like the regular season, the home teams have the advantage here. Keep in mind that the first two matchups are scheduled for Saturday.
Houston Texans vs. Buffalo Bills New England Patriots vs. Tennessee Titans New Orleans Saints vs. Minnesota Vikings Philadelphia Eagles vs. Seattle Seahawks
It’s actually pretty interesting—the organizer ended up being the winner too. 😉
I was just looking at the numbers. Last year the winner had 59 hits, this year it was 61. Progress.
But hey, why don't we just release the picks for the World Cup weekend now? We already know them anyway, and voting doesn't close until Saturday night. Right?
Oh, really?😁 No way, I didn't realize that.🙂 thanks Quote

Just kidding, respect. 😬
As if. I pick the matchups and then just coordinate with the teams to make sure they play exactly how I want.😉
The regular season is officially in the books. It flew by, but now we finally get to the part that actually matters.👍
Here is how the standings look now that the regular season has wrapped up. The playoffs will be tracked separately, and once they conclude, we'll crown a new champion—meaning everyone starts from zero again. However, the playoff results will be added back to the regular season totals to determine our overall season winner. Note that winners in overtime during the playoffs will also earn points.
Final Standings (It was tight, but I managed to claw my way back to the top in the final round, edging out Karen Myers by just one point)😉

At the start of the season, there was a question regarding overtime and a proposal not to award points for them, so that's how it was decided. There isn't some deep, hidden reason. To be honest, I don't recall if points were awarded last year or not, but this season we started with this rule from day one. It makes zero sense to change the rules now at the end of the season; if you want to start awarding points next season, fine by me. 😉

The leaderboard shifted at the top again this round. Karen Myers4 is back in the lead. 🙏 We had two games go into overtime, so those didn't count toward anyone's score.
