HPV vaccine discussion in Women's Health ·
Honestly, for anyone actually paying attention, there isn't really any confusion about the vaccine. It’s designed to prevent the most common types rather than act as a cure, and since it protects against four specific types, you're covered against those even if you've already been exposed to others. It doesn't just target cancer; it prevents CIN and those incredibly common warts we see everywhere (cancer is really just the final, worst stage of the whole process). Major players like the FDA, the CDC, and other health authorities all maintain that after millions upon millions of doses, these vaccines are safe. All those claims about fatalities and the issues mentioned haven't been proven to be caused by the vaccine at all. And as for people changing their habits? I guess they won't. Like someone else pointed out... just ask the people who are actually living through this if they'd choose to get vaccinated. So, 🙂
