I mean, it really depends on what kind of electronic stuff you've actually listened to and how much you even know about the genre, to be honest.
Generalizing like that just doesn't make sense—every single genre has its share of absolute garbage and its gems, you know?
Electronic music can be incredibly melodic and complex, or fast and powerful, but it can also be boring and mindless (especially some of the newer derivatives, if you ask me).
It’s kind of like someone saying they don't like guitars at all—like, sure, if you aren't feeling Metallica, maybe you're more into some unknown bands or something, or maybe you're an old-school Deep Purple fan while someone else lives for Slayer or Pantera. There are all these different subgenres of rock and metal, and it's the exact same deal with electronic music.
I saw someone bashing Kraftwerk the other day, which I found pretty hilarious and honestly just ignorant, but hey, they're entitled to their opinion, I guess.
Personally, I say—electronic music is where it's at!
