thanks 😉 finally someone making sense 🙏
I know I heard that somewhere—not making it up (well, not yet 😁)—it's just that since I didn't see it with my own eyes, that's where I tripped up 🥳

Mark Webber didn't lap Sebastian Vettel even once during that entire race.🙄

So, if we're doing the math, does that mean Vettel actually needed to be freaking faster than Webber by like, 3 to 5 seconds a lap just to catch back up to the same lap?🤣

And honestly—and I mean this—that wouldn't just be "good" driving, it would be legendary, cosmic, the absolute greatest drive in NASCAR history... like, the kind of stuff where Fernando Alonso would just have to hide in a hole somewhere.🤣 🤣

Look, man, I know what I heard.
I wasn't staring at the TV right at that second, but there's no way Blažicko is actually that clueless about Vettel's car.☕ 🤷
And I'm not sitting here crunching his lap times because, frankly, I don't care.

Believe whatever you want. I really don't give a damn.👍

stormybadger8 said:So, when exactly did Webber actually jump ahead of Vettel for a full lap? I feel like I've seen clips of it, but my memory is kind of fuzzy on the specific race... 🤣

So, when exactly do you think Vettel actually pulls ahead of Webber again?🤷

Wait, which race were you even watching? I’m sitting here a few beers deep and honestly—I am way more confused than this after that finish.😬🤣

Plus, we’re all in the wrong thread anyway—honestly, we’ve all just lost our minds at this point. 😬

Alright, TBF, what exactly is tripping you up here? 😕 Right at the start of the race—right around the time they were hitting those pit entry turns—while Vettel was basically cruising in dead last, Webber started closing in on him. I swear, I distinctly remember Blazic mentioning that Webber was actually gaining a full lap on his own teammate. ☕ Look, I’m really not that crazy—honestly. ☕
I don't care what kind of stuff you're on—whatever it is that's got you seeing things that aren't there—it doesn't change my mind. I know exactly what I saw.
ps: honestly, you might just need to grab a Beer and chill out. 😉

stormybadger8 said:who knows, maybe next race Luc will go have a little chat with Jenson Button, and then suddenly Alonso might actually get a decent shot at something😬🤣

honestly, who can tell? that guy is a total wildcard—he’s definitely cooking something up behind the scenes somewhere😳

if nothing else, this season isn't going to be boring, that's for sure🤣

🤣 😂
that guy has way too much to say—he's got a mouth on him. instead of just keeping his head down and fixing things, he's out here running his mouth constantly. 😳 okay, look, being 47 points down isn't totally impossible given how the scoring works now, but with all the mistakes he and the team are making, they could easily just spiral downward. I mean, hey, if he wins a race soon, great—but let's not act like he's some kind of god or anything.

you know what I mean? I bet Alonso will start giving Mark Webber advice on how to handle teammate drama. since Alonso knows exactly what it's like to deal with being picked on... 🤣 man, this season is definitely gonna be anything but boring🙏

stormybadger8 said:No way, he’s actually proving it right now—it's not even a promise anymore ☕

I literally just read that myself 🤣
and honestly, I had to laugh—just kind of a bitter little chuckle, you know? 😢 I mean, okay, fine, they really did struggle with their starts, that part is true. But talking about winning the championship? 🤦 What is he even on about? 🤣

Arthur Doyle70 said:All these debates feel like they're just copy-pasted after every single race 🤣🤣

we don't agree on much anyway 😬,but 🙏 🙏

it's always the same old nonsense—Fettel is never the problem, Zalon is blamed for everything, and suddenly Gumbek is this hidden gem destined for a championship even though everyone was totally tearing him apart on that same topic before—and then you get the same chatter for or against Webber, but honestly, who even cares about any of them when Hemic is obviously going to be the champion in the end ☕

cosmicridge5 said:Yeah, I was actually thinking the exact same thing right after the lights went out—I honestly can’t remember the last time Alonso had a start that actually looked decent.😁

It feels like his nerves are just completely shot at this point😳

And man, this penalty is just absolute bottom-of-the-barrel nonsense.🙄

it’s honestly tragic, girl😢 when you think back to those days at Renault where he’d just launch from 5th on the grid and be sitting in P2 before they even hit the first turn... god, those were the days..

The penalty seems totally baseless to me too, but I don't even have the energy to argue about it because the Zalonso fans are just circling like vultures waiting for any excuse.🙄
and you can tell even he’s reached his breaking point—I mean, hearing him say everything is fine after the race and that we just have to respect the stewards' decision? that doesn't sound like the real Alonso at all. nooooooooot.☕

I think I know exactly when I messed up last time... but man, this debate is getting pretty intense...
Everything is gonna be fine with Zalonso...
Don't even sweat it...
Does anyone remember what kind of penalty Hamilton got back at Spa in 2008? Was it a drive-through or did he just have to let Kimi back past him...

Honestly, I don't know. It doesn't really feel like things are clicking for him right now. I'm crossing my fingers that he turns it around, but still... 🤔

Hamilton got hit with a 25-second penalty after the race back then 😉

hollowhawk412 said:Look, my dear... just a little bit of bad karma mixed with some blood boiling over—you know how it goes.
That's just how those Latinos are—classic.
I don't get why you earthlings are so obsessed with them—seriously, what is it about you people? 😁

Look, man, you’re totally off base again. 🙂

It’s not even really about his bad luck anymore—it’s more like he’s just become totally unstable and lost his edge, you know? He's acting all insecure and shaky, which is honestly just a different kind of mess. 🤷 Honestly, looking at how Fernando Alonso has been playing it lately... I feel like if we were talking about the guy from back in the day—especially during that 2005 or 2006 era—he wouldn't be having such a rough time with his starts. Like, seriously, what happened to him? Did he just lose that edge or something? It's weird because he used to be so sharp right off the line. 🤣 And honestly, he shouldn't have even flirted with that kind of overtake—he went for broke and just ended up burning it all down. I mean, I don't really get why they handed out a penalty either, since both guys were clearly fighting for the position, and besides, Kubica ended up pulling out of the race later anyway.🤷 You know what I mean? Something just isn't right with him—it's off. Honestly, having bad blood is the least of his worries at this point. He’s already drowning. 😉

mistybear87 said:man, some people here probably watched Formula 1 back when they used stopwatches manually—so yeah, live timing basically means nothing to them 😉

yeah, sure... which is exactly why you've got me here to ruin the suspense while you wait for those "delayed" highlights 🙂

if live timing doesn't mean jack to you, that's your business—but for everyone else, it’s everything 😉

hollowhawk412 said:Red Bull Racing are honestly idiots if they let this championship slip away... I mean, the car is just absolute dominance,
they basically had two or three more wins in the bag...

Anyway, I’m looking at the standings... doing the math... and man, Fernando Alonso could have easily taken first place too...Between those last two races where things just went sideways—costing him nearly 30 points—and those silly mistakes (like what happened in Monaco), Alonso could've been sitting at the top right now 🙂

I think he knows it too 😬 but honestly, he’s mostly on his own here. It comes down to him and those brain-fart moments of his 😳

Frank Collins85 said:What about everyone who just watched the race live through international channels, satellite feeds, or streams? Because honestly—that hour-long delay on the local network is just straight-up unbearable.

Hold up—what’s your problem with how we chose to watch the race?☕

So I'm reading that Mark Webber basically said he's heading straight to talk to the bosses over at Red Bull Racing tomorrow—apparently, if he’d had any clue they were going to treat him like this, he wouldn't have signed that new contract in a heartbeat 🍿 🤣

I'm actually starting to dig Webber 👋 😁

Michael Lee4, you seriously think nobody else has ever cut someone off in the exact same way Zalonso did? 🙂

That Ferrari was just pathetic. Alonso sitting at 14th and Massa at 15th—it’s honestly an embarrassment. 🤣 🤦
