What's your go-to water brand? in Health ·

I used to drink that too, once upon a time. But then, quite out of nowhere, it just started tasting bland to me... I haven't the slightest clue why that happened.

Nowadays, I've switched over to Volvic.

I've noticed you aren't, and besides, nobody is actually fighting here... 😛
Just kidding. Though I suppose the sentiment regarding the Hatha yoga holds some truth...

Don't act so surprised, you little troublemaker... Honestly, reading your posts used to just break my heart... 😢

But since you're already here... 🙂 would you ever consider teaching me a bit of Hatha yoga... 😁
Proper posture? in Health ·
I suppose I should join in and vent a little bit as well...

My main struggle when it comes to sitting is definitely my shoulders and my lower back... it’s quite a nuisance...
Between work and everything else, I spend at least 10 to 11 hours a day glued to a computer screen...
And I rarely get up from my desk, either... unless I’m feeling hungry, thirsty, or just need a bathroom break... otherwise, I stay put...
I’ll even go out of my way to ( 😁 ) wash a few coffee mugs or glasses just to give myself an excuse to finally stand up...
It isn't that I'm avoiding movement, per se, it's just that there's often no pressing reason to move...

When I'm at home, I mostly use an exercise ball... my lower back certainly appreciates that, but my shoulders still feel the strain... 😢
At the moment, my doctor has referred me to a physical therapist to work on stretching those specific areas...
I even get a brief massage at the end of the sessions... honestly, the guy is incredibly skilled, and it feels absolutely wonderful... mmm...

Outside of that, I try to stick to yoga and running whenever I can at home...
I used to make it to the local YMCA once or twice a week for swimming, but my schedule hasn't allowed for it lately... though I plan to get back into a routine this summer...
So, that's where things stand...
