Hey everyone. I figured I’d post this here instead of cluttering up the main thread... So, I recently set up Windows XP on my machine and installed Adobe Reader. Everything seemed fine until I went to launch it—I had to click through the license agreement, right? Well, the very second I hit accept, Avira starts screaming at me that I've got a virus (specifically a Trojan). Honestly, my PC was acting so incredibly glitchy after that that I just had to crash Windows and start the whole setup process from scratch. Now, I'm back at square one and the exact same thing is happening again... I'm honestly terrified to even click "accept" because I don't want to deal with that nightmare all over again. What should I do? Has anyone else dealt with this weirdness? Or maybe there's a different program out there for handling PDF files? Every time I try to hit "decline," my computer just crawls and things start getting super weird, though it eventually settles down...
Hey everyone. So, I headed over to the dermatologist today to check out some red moles that have been popping up on my skin. He took a look at my bloodwork and mentioned that a few of my levels were running a bit low—I think he specifically mentioned MCH and something else... He suggested that these could actually be linked to something going on with my liver, which might be why these spots are showing up. He’s sent me off to get an abdominal ultrasound to check out my liver, kidneys, and spleen, and honestly, I'm feeling a little bit anxious about it all. Has anyone here dealt with something similar? I'd love to hear if anyone has any insight into what might be happening. I'm 30 years old. Thanks!
Hey everyone, quick question... can anyone tell me if I’m supposed to be straining my eyes during an eye exam to get the best results, or should I just totally relax and let things happen naturally? So, a few days ago I went in for a checkup and I decided to just go limp and relax my eyes, and they ended up giving me a prescription for +2.5. Now, ever since I started wearing these glasses, I've been dealing with constant headaches. They work okay for reading stuff up close, I guess, but that's about it. Without them, I can see pretty much everything clearly, but I can't do it for very long before my eyes start feeling super strained... and then if I try to relax my vision, everything just goes blurry. I'm not even sure how to put this properly, but if anyone else has dealt with something similar, I’d really appreciate some advice... Sorry if there are any typos here, I'm actually typing this while wearing these new glasses. THANKS!
