I swear, every time I open a sports app lately, it’s just a constant stream of "rumors" and "targets." It feels like we spend more time speculating about who might sign with whom than actually watching the matches being played. Half the time, these links turn out to be complete nonsense designed just to drive clicks, but it still gets everyone's blood pressure up for no reason.

I remember back in the day, you'd hear a whisper in a pub or read a small blurb in the paper, and that was it. Now, it's a 24/7 cycle of speculation that makes it impossible to know what's real. It's hard to get excited about a potential big move when you know there's a 90% chance it's just a way to keep people scrolling through endless articles.

Does anyone else find the constant transfer gossip more exhausting than exciting?
Best laptop for architecture students? in Laptops ·
Hey everyone.

I’m hoping to start my architecture degree this year, so I've already started digging into the laptop situation. The main reason I'm asking is that a good friend of mine is heading over to the States in June, so I'm looking at having them pick something up for me there—presumably to snag a better deal. My budget is roughly $550 to $2000. The real headache, though, is that I have no idea how much power I actually need for this kind of coursework. For instance, is a top-tier screen really a necessity? At that price point, I see plenty of laptops sporting an Intel Core i7-7700HQ and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050, but they often come with all sorts of other issues—bad displays, terrible battery life, and things of that nature. Maybe it might be smarter to opt for something with slightly lower specs if it means getting better build quality and overall reliability? Does anyone have advice on which specific components I should prioritize?

I'd really appreciate any insight you can share. 👍
