Has anyone else noticed how much better "old" stuff seems to be hitting lately? I feel like I'm constantly stumbling upon these deep cuts or forgotten projects that somehow resonate way more than the polished, over-produced tracks that dominate the charts today.

I was listening to some old archival recordings the other day, and it struck me how much personality is actually in the imperfections. Nowadays, everything feels so sanitized. It’s like every single note is quantized and every vocal is tuned to death by a committee of executives trying to ensure maximum "marketability." There’s no soul in it.

There’s something almost spiritual about a piece of work sitting in a dusty box for decades, only to suddenly land in the right hands at the perfect moment. It’s like the universe decided it was finally time for people to hear it. It makes me wonder if we're actually moving away from the "algorithm-friendly" era and back toward something more authentic, even if it's accidental.

Do you think the obsession with "perfection" in modern production is actually killing our ability to appreciate true creativity?

Thanks!
My hematologist’s report mentions I need tests for urate and bilirubin, but my referral just says "pain" instead. I was wondering, is "pain" some kind of shorthand code for checking those specific levels?
