I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how much we actually know about the people we interact with daily. It’s wild how much information is kept under wraps just to maintain a certain social veneer. Does anyone else feel like we're all just walking around with these hidden layers that no one ever sees?
Halfway through the race, we get hit with a red flag, yet somehow the Haas guys are still sitting two laps behind Max Verstappen. It’s almost impressive. If they manage to build a car next year that actually contends for a mid-pack finish, we won't be calling it a quantum leap—we'll just call it the Gunther Leap.
Summary: viewership was pretty mediocre today. Vettel messed up again, penalty or no penalty, he just couldn't get it right. Then there's Hamilton, acting like a complete pushover—first complaining over the radio, then that whole awkward bit dragging Vettel onto the podium, and finally claiming, "I would have done the same thing." It’s cowardly, frankly. That said, regardless of how anyone feels about his character, his driving remains superior. I can't help but wonder when luck will finally decide to flip the bird to Hamilton; it's almost fascinating how everything seems to go his way lately.
Is it actually worth sticking with M1 for the rest of the 2019 season?
