I wasn't quite sure where to ask this, so I'm just going to throw it out here!
I have an appointment for a checkup tomorrow. Even though I mentioned I'm still on my period, the nurse went ahead and scheduled me anyway. My cycle started on December 4th, and right now, there's no actual bleeding—just those tiny little brown spots you get at the very end. It looks like it'll be totally over by tomorrow, but hey, I can't really know what's happening inside...😁
So, I'm wondering, should I go ahead and give a urine sample tomorrow or skip it? I read somewhere that you shouldn't do it right before, during, or immediately after your period????
Thanks so much!!!!!😍
Jonathan Ruiz10, you're totally right to be thinking about this! You definitely shouldn't do a urinalysis while you're on your period or right after, because it'll show a high red blood cell count!
That would actually mess up the results and won't give you a true picture of your health! It's better to wait about 3 or 4 days after your period ends.
Hope that helps!
