I was looking at some of the lines for the games tonight, and man, the math just doesn't seem to line up with what I'm seeing on the field lately. It feels like every time I think I've spotted a pattern or a team that’s due for a massive comeback, the unexpected happens and wipes out my weekend.
I used to be pretty confident in my reads, but lately, it feels like the unpredictability of these matchups is at an all-time high. It’s like the models and the "experts" are just guessing at the same rate we are, just with fancier charts and more confidence. I had a decent run a few months back, but now I'm finding myself hesitating before every single play.
