You think so? The old man didn't have a clue; he looked absolutely shell-shocked when he saw where the kid actually was. 🤣

As for tactics, I bet someone running a single-stop strategy could pull ahead if Scuderia Ferrari shows up on track tomorrow (and the odds of that happening are huge).

Not that it matters much, but when STR is leading on TopSpeed, they usually suck once the actual race starts. Weird how that works, but I've noticed the pattern.🤷

Chill out, it's only day one...

Edward Howard2 said:Watch the pit exit closely. Things could get messy there. There was one instance during practice where someone exiting the pits had to cut wide off-track just to avoid getting slammed by a car on a flying lap. Since the white line ends before the turn, I doubt officials will be letting people slide like that when they're actually fighting for position in the race. Expect some contact.

Yeah, it’s wild how they laid it out... who knows, maybe they'll scramble to fix it overnight—pardon me, during the day.

The entry to the main straight is also tricky for some drivers; saw a few spins already. That chicane looks interesting too. It’s tight, but manageable. However, if anyone tries to dive down there for an overtake right before it, things might get chaotic at the entrance 😁

That section under the bridge is pretty narrow as well... imagine if someone gets stuck there and then a whole pack of cars comes barreling down on them 😁

Naci's gone and messed things up again.

Look, Lewis Hamilton was faster than Kimi Räikkönen and that’s the end of it. Kimi went wide and forced him off, he let it go, and then immediately made the pass. If it had been the other way around, you guys would be screaming about how Kimi is the king and how he absolutely smoked him... blah, blah, blah. Just be glad you got to see an incredible race with some serious drama at the finish. It doesn't matter if your favorite driver didn't take the win; someone else will get there eventually.

Even thirty minutes after the checkered flag, Massa still looks shell-shocked from getting overtaken by Kimi Räikkönen on the first lap.🤣

BMW double header 🙏

Coulthard takes third 🤣

Glock finished fourth, but he totally blew it in the final lap by letting Fisica slip into fifth, allowing Massa to snatch it with a spectacular overtake...

Hamilton 🤣 Look, I love the kid, but today was an even bigger brain fart than when he blew the championship last year.

I was watching on my second monitor, and if you missed this, go grab a recording immediately because what we just saw was legendary. 🙏 🙏 🙏

Most people put Senna at the top of the GOAT list if you haven't noticed, but personally, I'd rank Prost and Alonso right up there with MS based on what I saw from them on track—maybe even earlier legends too. MS is only 4th for me, and honestly, he's barely edging out Jack Villeneuve; they might even be equal, but that's debatable.

For me, Mansell is the only one... 🙏

Damn, there were hardly any of them out there, but Ferrari was definitely on point today 😁

Yeah, they were all over the track. And all around it too 😁

Edward Howard2 said:If he wasn't allowed to make even one mistake, he might as well have just cruised around the track from start to finish. The crew absolutely carried him again; he drove just enough to secure the win and called it a day. I've got no complaints, but I'm certainly not handing out any praise for his driving today.

The only real work he did was during the start when he held off Kubica's attacks... If Kimi hadn't messed up while trying to pass Kovalainen, there actually might have been a race to watch.

Oh yeah, I feel terrible for Bouradis—it’s a shame his engine gave out two laps before the end. We'll definitely see him in a top-tier seat next season, and then things will get interesting.

I'm dying to know how much fuel those top three have left and who’s going to dive into the pits first...
