Back pain and poor posture... help!

A recent checkup turned up some slight scoliosis.
I haven't really dealt with any pain so far, though I realized I spend a lot of time lying on my side in awkward positions while reading.
At work, I tend to hunch over quite a bit, and I often forget to actually sit up straight.
To be honest, I've started to realize I don't really know how to maintain good posture, and I think I'm almost always slouching.
Does anyone else deal with similar issues, and if so, how do you manage them?
