Waking up at night to pee: any tips? in Health ·
So, I’m dealing with some major issues with my prostate, and I was wondering if anyone here who actually knows their stuff could take a look at my symptoms and give me an idea of what we're looking at—maybe prostatitis, BPH, or something else entirely...

I should probably mention that most of this seems tied to sexual activity—like, the symptoms really flare up right after. I mean, they aren't totally absent otherwise, but things get significantly worse specifically after I've been active.

Man, I can't even get any decent sleep because I'm up every 15 minutes. I pee, crawl back into bed, and then fifteen minutes later? Boom—the pain is back. And calling it "pain" feels like an understatement; it’s more like this intense, crushing pressure. I hit the bathroom and if I'm lucky, everything flows fine, but if I'm unlucky, I’m just sitting there struggling while only a tiny trickle comes out.

Honestly, having to run to the bathroom every 15 minutes is almost the "good" part—the absolute worst part is when you're trying to go and nothing happens at all...

Once this starts after sex, it sticks around for days. It’s slightly less brutal if I actually finish (though "less" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there), but it is a total nightmare if I don't.

What kind of diagnosis do you guys think this is? (Look, I know I need to see a urologist—I went to one ages ago, but honestly, it didn't do much for me).
