I was watching some highlights last night and it got me thinking about how much influence the talking heads have over how we perceive greatness. It feels like every year, there's this massive debate about who the "real" standout is, and half the time, it feels like the decision is based more on who has the best highlight reel or the most charisma for a post-game interview rather than actual, undeniable impact on the field.

It’s frustrating because you see players putting in insane work, carrying massive loads, and basically being the backbone of their entire organization, only to get overlooked when the awards season rolls around. It makes you wonder if the "official" rankings even matter anymore, or if they're just a popularity contest designed to drive clicks and engagement.

I've always felt that true dominance should be impossible to ignore, regardless of what a commentator says on a studio set. But lately, it feels like the narrative is being manufactured by people who aren't even in the trenches.

Do you think the "greatness" of an athlete is actually objective, or is it all just whatever the loudest voices decide it is?

It came around the 25th of May, so by my math, I should’ve been due again around the 25th of June. But nothing yet... Is it totally normal for things to be this irregular right now? And honestly, what are the odds that I might actually be pregnant again...
