I work for a software firm, so we deal with all sorts of different tech companies that end up picking up our programs and licensing our stuff for their own operations...
So, yeah, we're looking at a firewall issue here. I think I'll try suggesting that we temporarily swap out the Intel address just to see how things shake out... as for tying those licenses directly to the Intel hardware... well, my job at the firm involves handling license generation (that's me, personally) and I can't even begin the creation process unless they're locked to a specific Intel ID first.
Anyway, thanks for all the input regardless!
Man, if I actually knew who we bought this license from in the first place, I probably wouldn't even be bothering anyone with questions! But I'm totally in the dark on that part, and I was told I should try reaching out to someone to see if a new Intel address would mess with the license or not...
Hey there!
I was wondering if anyone here might be able to lend me a hand with something...
We're actually in the middle of switching out our network provider at the office. Right now, we're running an old Checkpoint NG-1 from Apple, and the whole plan is to swap out all our Intel addresses...
So, I've been sitting here thinking... will changing those Intel addresses actually mess anything up with our licensing? Like, is everything going to keep running smoothly as it is, or are we looking at needing to buy a whole new license?
Thanks so much in advance!
