Yes. 🙂 The new album just dropped. Might actually sit down and listen to it. 😁
Great news... we’re just missing Swans now to basically complete our list of legendary eighties bands still touring today.

btw

Clock dva is getting back together..

I'm with you on this... ☕
neonscout5 said:Central Park is an art house cinema that hosts retrospectives and stuff. You head over to Europe for certain festivals, but the gaps in between are terrifyingly empty. New movies just arrive out of nowhere...

You’d be surprised by the kind of films they actually show at Central Park or in Europe. 😉

I don't think an exclusively art house model would work in NYC unless there was a major festival happening every single month..
neonscout5 said:Is it just a lack of enough hardcore cinephiles to fill up those indie theaters, or is there something else going on? What do you guys think?

You’ve got the Europa, which is basically an indie staple, and even the theater near Central Park always sticks to the arthouse stuff...
What would Mel Brooks say? He’d probably joke about burning down another small town just to get the perfect shot for a movie.😂

Rambo looks like a toddler compared to these guys.🙏

Yeah, there's plenty of amateurish stuff and massive plot holes. It’s like when the lead actor picks his crew based on some guy who's supposedly an expert with knives—then the guy doesn't even touch a knife once during the whole movie.😂
Earplugs for concerts? in Music ·
feraltrucker5 said:I’ve personally tried those earplugs you can pick up at any local CVS.

Give me a break. Most people show up to concerts for the music. As for the ones just there to flaunt their outfits? Those earplugs work just fine for them too. 😂

Personally, I find disaster films way more unsettling.
Take something involving CERN accidentally triggering the creation of a black hole—obviously played up in a massive Hollywood fashion, of course.😁
Then you have the darker realities like human trafficking, exploitation, or child abduction.

Or even those creatures from other dimensions that slip through temporal rifts to snatch people away.
The usual suspects like vampires, UFOs, and the like.🤷

You already have that. 😁 Angels & Demons.

Everyone’s afraid of something different. You can basically split it into two camps: people who fear things that could actually happen, and those who go for the supernatural stuff.

I actually really loved the Japanese horror flicks "Ring" and "Ju-on." To be honest, ghosts in Western movies don't really do anything for me. They just don't scare me.
