Melissa Thomas35 said:Well, I'm back from my checkup, and I suppose I should share the news. Dr. Smith told me that what I'm feeling is essentially a bone callus—just a bit of extra tissue forming where the bone was originally broken. He mentioned that this might stick around for a few months, which seems like quite a long time, I guess. He also noted that if the swelling doesn't subside on its own, I might have to undergo another surgery. It’s not exactly the most comforting thing to hear, but I'm trying to stay positive about it all.🙂
I suppose, if I’m being perfectly honest, things seem to be heading toward a bit of a catastrophe right now. It feels like we're drifting toward a real disaster, though I might be overthinking it—it's hard to say for sure.

Dear Melissa Thomas35, you certainly aren't alone in dealing with these kinds of surgical outcomes. I went through a rhinoplasty about a year and three months ago, and I’ve been left with these bony protrusions right where the bone fractures occurred during the procedure. They are still there... it's just devastating. To make matters worse, I feel like the surgery was performed quite sloppily; my nose doesn't look natural or elegant at all—it actually looks quite the opposite. And all this after I paid $14,000 for the whole thing. $0.00I suppose I am currently getting ready for my consultation with the specialist over at Forest General Hospital. I’m really hoping they decide to move forward with the surgery. To be perfectly honest, I think I’d feel much more comfortable there; I have to admit, I’ve been feeling a bit apprehensive about leaving my face in the hands of those private plastic surgeons. It just feels like a safer bet, I guess.
