Bayer Leverkusen vs PSG X 3.40 super tip USA, hl (0-4)
Games like this are tough to call, so I’m going for the high payout: a classic draw. When a tie feels like the most realistic outcome, I have to take it as a single. Props to PSG, but they’re just slight favorites to me tomorrow—nothing more. The Champions League and domestic leagues are two totally different beasts, so I wouldn't lean too heavily on league stats here. Bayer is sitting right behind the untouchable Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, which says plenty about their quality. They’re playing at home, where Germans are known for being gritty and tough; they fight for every chance and play until the final whistle. I also don't think the Parisians will be sprinting like crazy; they have the second leg at home, and given the aggregate from the first match, they’d likely be happy with a draw. Looking at league form, the Pharmacists haven't been exactly spectacular lately. Then again, PSG hasn't been brilliant in their last three away trips either—they scraped a 1-2 win over Nantes, then drew with En Avant Guingamp and AS Monaco. If those teams could walk away with a point, surely Bayer can do it in front of their packed home crowd in this Champions League opener. Plus, they've only had one draw in 21 Bundesliga matches so far. They're due for one, and tomorrow feels like the perfect time. Good luck, everyone!
15:00h Seattle Sounders FC/New York City FC @ 1.75 USA (5-0)
Looks like the oddsmakers actually realized what kind of matchup this is. They dropped the over 2.5 line to a measly 1.35, which makes total sense. I decided to go with this slightly riskier play instead. There’s really no doubt in my mind that Seattle Sounders FC will do their thing and put a few past the keeper. The real question is whether New York City FC can find the back of the net. Honestly, in a lower-tier friendly like this, anything can happen. They might struggle early on, but once they settle in during the second half, it's a real possibility. I’m also banking on Seattle Sounders FC chilling out once they get a lead—it's pretty logical to expect them to take their foot off the gas after scoring a few away goals. If this friendly follows a normal flow, I'm expecting a high-scoring game for the home side, maybe paired with a consolation goal from the visitors to cover this. Good luck, everyone!
23:30h UNIVCH.-EVERTV. Total goals over 2.5 @ 1.60 USA (2-1)
Wrapping up the day with the Chileans. It’s a high-scoring league, so goals usually aren't hard to come by. The home side is a massive favorite here—they've been sitting at the top for a few seasons now and they really know how to rack up points at home. This league is pretty unpredictable, anyone can score, so as long as the home team shows up like they usually do and we grab a goal from the visitors, the over should hit. Three of their last four matches went over this line, so I don't see why tonight would be any different. Good luck, everyone!
That blowout from a few days ago? I’m betting it just makes the Arsenal guys hungrier. They’re going to be looking for payback. That 5-1 scoreline was a fluke—it doesn't reflect how these teams actually match up. It was one of those weird games where everything just went their way. If a bottom-feeder in the Premier League can sneak two past them and still get dragged into a stoppage-time scrap, then an energized Arsenal should have no problem putting at least two in the back of the net. Good luck, everyone.
Not gonna beat a dead horse on the scoring here—teams in this league love a shootout. I’m taking the over without a second thought. It’s a friendly, and I’m pretty sure both defenses are basically on vacation today. Expect goals. Good luck, everyone!
Saturday, Northern Ireland: Linfield vs. Ballymena Utd | Over 2.5 goals @ 1.45 (Result: 6-0)
Sometimes I just don't get the oddsmakers. To me, this is a total lock, and I find it hard to believe this wouldn't hit. Linfield is basically the Bayern Munich of this league—they win, they jump to the top of the table, and eventually, they end up sitting there comfortably, much like how the Dodgers dominate their division. BallyUtd is a mess right now, sitting at a goal difference of 38:45. Linfield dominates the top tier year after year, and with a scoring record like 57:34, it tells you everything you need to know about this league: goals are everywhere. Head-to-head stats aren't even necessary here because I just don't see an "under" happening in this matchup. These two met in the cup about ten days ago and Bally pulled off a 2-1 win. I’m expecting some revenge today, with at least 3 or 4 goals flying into their net. It's my lock of the day. Good luck, everyone!
James Taylor3 said:Just a heads up: DraftKings is offering 20.00 for an away win, and the draw is sitting at 4.35.
Meanwhile, Bet365 has the draw at 4.50.
It's basically a gift. 🤷 Especially since the LA Galaxy have been struggling against bottom-tier teams lately.
Unbelievable. This Galaxy squad supposedly clinched the title after beating Portland 1-0 at home, hitting the post once while totally dominating. Their star striker was clearly the MVP. We all know how gritty Portland can be, and this current underdog they're facing isn't much easier—if they’d had even a bit of luck, they'd have way more points on the board right now. Besides, I think they even managed to snatch a point from Inter Miami this summer..
Gerald Carter53 said:Just a heads up... the team is celebrating their 103rd anniversary this week. Expecting a huge turnout at the stadium today... I'm sure the players will be extra fired up to grab a win for the fans.
Turnout at the stadium is always massive, gotta respect that. As for the game, I wouldn't bet against them winning—why not? But honestly, I'm still expecting an away goal. Either way, thanks for the heads up.
driftingotter47 said:LAFC vs. Houston Dynamo/Houston Dynamo scores a goal @ 1.95 ODDS The final matchup of the MLS regular season. Houston’s been absolutely abysmal this year—just one win in 21 games (7 draws) and they've only put up 16 goals. On the flip side, LAFC has stepped things up compared to last season, but they’re still pretty green with a lot of young talent. They aren't quite a powerhouse yet despite having only two losses (8 draws). In all four head-to-head meetings, Houston has managed to find the net. LAFC took three of those 2-1, while Houston grabbed one 2-0 win. Looking at their last 13 matches, Houston failed to score only three times, which is weird for a team sitting at the bottom. They’ve scored against anyone—LAFC, Houston, Atlanta, etc. Meanwhile, LAFC has kept a clean sheet in 15 of their last 17 games. Not much else to say...
EDIT: Just saw the analysis above. Yeah, we're on the exact same page.
I'm feeling a 5 on this. Looks like a solid play for today. No way LAFC wins outright based on these odds, and honestly, a draw wouldn't even surprise me..
12:30h Seattle Sounders vs Portland Timbers over 2.5 goals @ 1.50 odds (1-2)
Matches like this—along with those summer hockey friendlies—are my favorite to bet on. Even though everyone knows how easy it is to get burned by these kinds of lines. These teams play wide open; the tactical quality isn't always elite, but they just love to trade blows. It’s kind of a Pacific Northwest thing; the philosophy seems to be "outscore them" rather than sit back and defend. You often see these matchups end up looking like futsal scores. Good luck, everyone.
Seattle Sounders vs. FC Tulsa - Away win at 1.80 ss (2-1)
The Seattle academy kids have been a breath of fresh air this season. They’re playing with massive heart and grit, which has kept them right at the top of the table. I wouldn't expect them to go toe-to-toe with a powerhouse like LA Galaxy just yet, but the way they're playing deserves some serious credit. That said, this young roster is prone to defensive lapses—they can give up a goal to literally anyone, including a side like Tulsa. In their last outing, the Tulsa guys managed to find the back of the net, just like they've done against a few other teams lately. Honestly, they played better than the scoreline suggested; they just lacked any luck. Tulsa is actually playing decent soccer. I’ve caught a few of their matches, and frankly, they belong in a higher tier. Their depth isn't great, injuries are hitting them hard, and they're constantly dealing with suspensions, plus they haven't had a break from bad luck. But looking ahead to tonight, Tulsa has nothing to lose. They aren't the type to park the bus and sit back; they play an attacking style and will hunt for openings. Between Seattle's lack of experience in the backline and Tulsa's solid recent form, I think the visitors can at least grab a goal against the Sounders.
Liverpool looks lethal this season. Between their results and current form, you’d think they’d cruise right past a bottom-feeder like Fulham. But honestly, those are exactly the kinds of matchups that make me nervous—learned that the hard way over the years. I stopped betting against the cellar-dwellers a long time ago. These are the teams fighting for survival, playing with nothing to lose, and frankly, they often don't belong where they are in the standings. After pulling off a draw against a powerhouse recently, I think Fulham has enough gas in the tank to put up another gritty performance. Personally, I wouldn't touch the away win for anything; seeing it as the most popular bet on DraftKings makes me want to steer clear even more. My wife would probably take that bet if she saw it. There's no value there. Sure, the visitors are huge favorites, but in a league this competitive, upsets are always on the table. When someone claims there hasn't been a draw since 2002 without even thinking about it, I know exactly which way I'm leaning. If Liverpool were some unstoppable juggernaut, maybe. But looking at the stats and how things are trending, a draw feels like a solid play here. Good luck, everyone!
Sporting is finally keeping pace with the big two in the league this season. There’s a few reasons why. Aside from playing some seriously solid ball, they’ve got Monter—who’s currently the league's top scorer with 14 goals—alongside Martinez from FC Porto. They’ve only dropped one game so far and boast the best defense in the league, giving up just 10 goals. Offensively, they aren't lagging either; they're actually the most efficient attack in the league with 35 goals scored. After three straight wins last round, they had a shot at taking first place, but ended up settling for a 0-0 draw at home against Academica. Benfica has been struggling lately, stumbling with a 1-1 draw against Gil Vicente and a 0-1 loss away at Penafiel (taca de Portugal). These two met late last year, where Benfica pulled off a 4-3 win after extra time, despite leading 3-1 at the half. I think Sporting has enough quality to avoid a loss tonight. The odds look too good to pass up, so I’m definitely taking it. Motivation is high on both sides: Benfica wants the win to solidify their lead, while Sporting is looking to jump back to the top of the table. Expect a tense, tight match where the visitors don't walk away empty-handed. Good luck, everyone!
St. Louis City SC vs. Nashville SC Over 1.75 goals (0-1)
Sorry for the late call, hope there’s still action left in the live markets. Honestly, I've seen way too many unders today in these preseason friendlies, so I'm expecting someone to finally open things up. Besides, these US sides tend to play high-scoring games, so I think we clear this line easily. For the bold ones out there, maybe push for the Over 2.5, but I'm personally happy just taking this. Good luck, everyone!
11:00 AM Silkeborg vs. SonderjyskE – Both teams to score at 1.60
I’ll be honest, I haven’t been able to wrap my head around odds like this in friendlies for years now. When you're dealing with Danish sides, goals just happen—especially in their second division—and looking at this morning's matchup, I'm expecting both sides to find the net. I don't really care where they're playing; if they're back home, they're used to the cold and the winter grit. If they're training down south in some warmer climate, even better. Bottom line: high-scoring squads, a league built for action, and it’s just a friendly meant for testing things out. Perfect setup for a goal on each side, probably more. Good luck, everyone!
4:00 PM AIK-MOLDE Both Teams to Score @ 1.50 (1-4)
Not much to break down here. These two teams love an open game, and with Scandinavian clubs, you can usually count on goals—especially in friendlies like this. The odds look decent enough to me; I'm feeling both sides finding the back of the net at least once. Good luck, everyone!
19:30h Seattle Sounders vs. Portland Timbers Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.50 (2-1)
When it comes to these Pacific Northwest matchups, they usually turn into high-scoring affairs. Given the home side is sitting at a measly 1.20, you're basically looking at a comfortable win with plenty of action, not to mention the visitors almost always find a way to sneak one in. Personally, I think the odds are a bit too generous here; a more realistic line would be 1.35 max. I’m expecting at least three goals, and I'm pretty confident this game blows past that low margin. Good luck, everyone!
Friday 8:45 PM | Linfield vs. Ards | Over 2.5 goals @ 1.40 | PSK (3-3)
For those out of the loop, this is the Northern Irish top flight, which is basically famous for being a goal fest. It’s especially wild when the league leaders take on the basement dwellers—the kind of team that needs a literal miracle to avoid relegation. Linfield is easily the most clinical home side in the league, second only to Portadown, who actually scored one more. Even though the visitors are sitting dead last, they aren't toothless; they managed to find the net 10 times in 12 away games, even if they failed to pick up a single point in the process. Honestly, I’m looking at 3 or 4 goals for the home side, and wouldn't be shocked if the visitors nick one given how chaotic this league can get. Their last three matchups have all seen at least 4 goals, including a 5-2 blowout for the hosts late last year. Expecting an easy win here, with Linfield probably bagging two in the first half alone. Good luck, everyone!
LIVE DEF. SPORTING-VELEZ both teams to score at 3.10 odds (0-1)
Just gonna circle back to what I said the other day when Velez pulled that last-minute equalizer against Peñarol to make it 1-1. Talk about lucky. Honestly, I still think these kinds of odds are way too high to pass up. It’s just a friendly, and we aren't even halfway through the match yet. This is one of those lines you just have to take. Good luck, everyone!
LIVE LA Galaxy vs. Chicago Fire - BTTS @ 2.10 (1-1)
If this were a high-stakes playoff game, I wouldn't touch this bet with a ten-foot pole. But since it's just a friendly, both teams finding the net looks pretty solid right now, and the odds are decent enough. Usually, these South American styles lean toward the under, but in exhibition matches like this, things tend to open up. Expect goals on both sides; feels worth a shot. Good luck, everyone!
