I can't enable virtualization in the BIOS because my processor doesn't support it, so the option isn't even there.
Thanks for the help. It’s not really the complexity that's getting to me; it's just that my processor doesn't seem to support virtualization, which means I can't get VirtualBox running. I honestly can't wrap my head around how I managed to make it work before using this exact same CPU. 🙂 Anyway, thanks again.
Is there any software out there that operates on the same principle as VirtualBox?
I did a little digging online regarding my monitor, and according to the official specs, it’s only supposed to support up to 1280x1024. However, I’ve found that I can actually push it to 1360x1024, though it won't go any higher than that.
The monitor I'm using is a Dell UltraSharp Monitor.
I’m running into a bit of a headache with my monitor, which seems capped at a maximum resolution of 1360x1024. Every time I attempt to push it higher, I get hit with that annoying "Monitor is not in optimum mode, please put in 1280x1024" error message. I really need that extra screen real estate, but it feels like I've hit a hard wall. If anyone happens to have a workaround or knows a fix, I'd certainly appreciate the help. For context, it’s a 17-inch Dell UltraSharp Monitor.
