just steal his wife🤣 🤣
I totally agree🙂 maybe that’s the only way he’ll finally open his eyes and see what's actually happening🙂 😁

Looks like it wasn't actually 😁

But whatever...
The issue isn't about being the best man; it's about what friendship actually means. A wedding role is just one day, but real friendship? That's what actually sticks around...

Seriously though, women just turn guys into total pushovers...
You aren't wrong, not by a long shot. 🙂
I only started this thread to see if anyone else was going through the same thing...
Women are basically a necessary evil 🙂
But even with all that, I just can't wrap my head around how someone loses their backbone overnight 🙂
Personally, I'm just chilling after all this, and I finally confirmed what I've been suspecting for a long time... 😉
Hey everyone,
I really need to get your take on something. So, I recently got married, and my absolute best friend was my Best Man.
When I asked him to do it, I figured it was a given that he’d ask me to be his one day too. We’ve been inseparable since we were kids, even if we had our other buddies hanging around.
But then, a few months later, he comes to me looking totally panicked. He basically confessed that some other guy had approached him about being his Best Man and asked if I’d be pissed off if he said yes. I played it cool, obviously, and told him it was fine.
Now that his wedding is actually getting close, I feel... I don't even know, just weird. Like, seriously weird. Everyone knows we were tight, they know I was his Best Man, and now suddenly, I'm just another guest? It feels so hollow. Every time someone asks me if I'm in the wedding party, I just feel worse.
My gut feeling is that his fiancée probably stepped in and called the shots on who the Best Man would be. I mean, I've noticed lately just how much influence she has over everything he does.
And look, I can't even trash the guy who's taking the spot—he's alright—but he's definitely the type who's aggressive, impatient, and pretty much always looks out for number one.
How would you guys handle this? Would you be as incredibly awkward as I am, to the point where you'd honestly rather just skip the whole wedding altogether?
Also, what kind of friend does that make him? Would you stay close to someone if they basically tossed a lifelong friendship aside just for the sake of a title at a wedding?
And honestly, is it even possible that his partner is the reason behind all this?
