I’m right there with you, Eric Fox7. I’m fully expecting the favorites to get absolutely crushed tonight, so I’m leaning heavily toward an upset win or at least a draw. Definitely playing the 1x option 😉

Galatasaray vs. Dortmund: Both teams to score at 1.60 (0-4)
Galatasaray to score at 1.40

We’re looking at two massive attacking sides here, but they are coming from completely different directions in terms of momentum. Galatasaray just took down their rivals in the big derby over the weekend and climbed into 2nd place in the domestic standings, whereas Dortmund is absolutely struggling, picking up their 5th loss in just 8 matches against Cologne. Klopp’s squad is playing way below their standard in the Bundesliga—sitting all the way down in 14th place—even though they managed to grab two wins in the Champions League before this third matchday. The Germans are going to be missing Mkhitaryan, Immobile, and Schmelzer today since Klopp is clearly rotating them to save them for league play. On the flip side, the home team is looking complete; Prandelli has finally dialed in a system that actually utilizes their talent (that 4-3-3 setup with Altintop, Yilmaz, and Sneijder leading the charge), and they’ve rattled off three straight league wins. They did struggle against Arsenal in the last CL round (4-1), and they had that annoying slip-up against Anderlecht (1-1) earlier on, too. Honestly, it's tough to call who walks away with the win, but goals? Goals look like a lock. With guys like Reus, Aubameyang, Kagawa, Ramos, and Bender on one side, and that trio I mentioned on the other, you have to expect an efficient game where both nets get hit. Galatasaray has seen "Both Teams to Score" hit in 5 of their last 6 matches (with four of those being high-scoring 3+ goal affairs), while Dortmund has seen that same outcome in 5 of their last 9 (though twice they were shut out and twice they failed to score).
At the end of the day, I'm convinced the home side is going to come out swinging from the first whistle to hunt for a win, which means they should find the back of the net at least once, and I'm expecting Dortmund to finally wake up and play a decent game and bag a goal of their own.

Seattle Sounders vs. FC Cincinnati 1 1.55; f+2 2.30 (2-0)
Just looking at the league standings, it's obvious the home side is ranked way higher, but what really gives me total confidence here is checking the visitors' official website—they just posted their traveling squad list for today’s match. It's basically a bunch of academy kids and benchwarmers; you might spot one or two guys from the main roster, but let's be real, most of them are just there to keep the bench warm.

CSKA Moscow vs. Man. City, Away win @ 1.7 ; Over 2 goals @ 1.65 (2-2)
After just two matches, City have already fallen behind Roma, and they're trailing even further behind Bayern Munich. Despite dominating the Premier League over the last few seasons, these guys just can't seem to pull off anything meaningful in Europe; if they don't get a win today, I honestly think we're looking at another season of total disappointment. CSKA isn't exactly having a field day in European play either—they got hammered 5-1 by Roma in matchday one, and then lost 0-1 at home to Bayern last time out. Sure, they’re doing fine back home in Russia where they sit in 2nd place with an 8-0-2 record, including a massive 6-0 blowout against Kuban recently (they were one of only two unbeaten teams alongside Zenit at the time), and they've won five straight games with a goal difference of 19:4. But like I said before, this is becoming the classic CSKA pattern: they cruise through domestic play but can't scrape even a single point in the Champions League. On the flip side, City comes into this with incredible momentum from their league play, having crushed Tottenham 4-1—which easily could have been 7-1 thanks to four clinical goals from Aguero—marking their third straight victory. There really isn't much point comparing the quality of these two squads; the talent gap is overwhelmingly on the English side. The fans, the front office, everyone at the club is desperate for a win today just to keep a glimmer of hope alive for the Round of 16.
Pairing the away win with an Over on goals seems like the move here. Both sides are incredibly efficient offensively—as I mentioned, CSKA has dropped 19 goals in their last five games, and you don't need a degree to know how lethal City is—and I expect them to come out swinging from the opening whistle because, frankly, they have nothing left to lose. CSKA failed to score against both Bayern and Spartak in 18 matches this season, while City hasn't been shut out in their last 11, excluding games against Stoke and Bayern. Last season, these two were in the same group, and City took both matches—a 2-1 win away and a 5-2 win at home. I'm betting we see a similar shootout today.

Porto vs. Bilbao, Home win @ 1.65 (2-1)
Going from being a rock-solid, high-quality squad last year, Bilbao has basically turned into a punching bag. They haven't managed a single win in their last eight outings, stumbling through three draws and five losses. To make matters worse, they've lost all five of their competitive away matches this season, leaving them with a dismal 2:12 goal differential. Porto, however, remains a powerhouse at home; for several seasons now, very few teams have walked away with anything other than a loss at the Estádio do Dragão. Even though Sporting pulled off a little upset in the cup this past weekend, I highly doubt the Portuguese side will repeat that mistake. If you count their friendlies, their home record is 6-2-0, and they hadn't lost a single game in 16 matches leading up to this weekend (10-6-0). A win here would put the home side in a fantastic position, sitting on 7 points after three matches and putting them within striking distance of the Round of 16. Meanwhile, Bilbao will be fighting just to stay relevant in La Liga if they keep playing like this, and I think they've already accepted that they aren't going to leave any mark on the European stage this year. This is a killer price for a Porto win against an opponent in this state.

Man, Manchester City vs. Tottenham at 1.75 odds—I’m calling it a 4-1 blowout.
Looking back at their recent head-to-head matchups: 1-5, 6-0, 3-1, 2-1, 3-2, and 1-5. Spurs have seen both teams find the net in three of their last four outings, while City has hit that mark in four of their last six (if you don't count those weird cup games against tiny lower-league sides). Honestly, there isn't much more to dissect here; both offenses are firing on all cylinders right now.

Freiburg vs. Wolfsburg at 1.70—going with a 1-2 result.
Their recent history shows: 2-2, 0-3, 2-5, 0-2, 3-2, 3-0, 2-1, and 2-1. Wolfsburg has been an absolute machine for the "both teams to score" market, hitting it 11 out of 13 times this season, and Freiburg has covered it in 5 of their last 6. Given how high-scoring the Bundesliga can get, this is a killer value play.

I was simply trying to point out that the atmosphere at the local stadium is way too intense for a casual indoor soccer match😁 👍

They were playing an exhibition game at the local stadium, right? 🤔 🤷

Robert Cooper60 said:the atmosphere at the local stadium really showed off how intense our group is and just how insane the crowd gets
but the little issue I’m seeing is that with an atmosphere like that, it honestly has nothing to do with what's actually happening on the pitch
it could be a tiny indoor soccer match or some random cornhole tournament... the stands were the main event and the backdrop for everything
I kind of feel like it wouldn't be such a bad idea to actually follow the plays, watch a bit of the game, and just enjoy the soccer itself...
if you know what I mean

Well, that’s just down to the individual, whether someone wants to watch the field or not. Personally, I was glued to every single second of that match because I actually give a damn about indoor soccer. Plus, the way we were cheering toward the end of the game proves we were definitely paying attention to the action on the court.
Dammit, it's not our fault we're such a legendary group 👏 :clap

Leicester vs. Burnley 1 1.75 (2-2)
Before this season kicked off, everyone was writing Leicester off as one of the prime candidates for relegation—mostly just looking at their market value—but they shut that noise down pretty quickly. After six rounds, they’re sitting comfortably in 12th place with a 2-2-2 record and a 9:10 goal difference, though you have to look at who they’ve actually played: they’ve faced Everton (2-2), Chelsea (0-2), Arsenal (1-1), and United (5-3). Sure, they dropped a game to Crystal Palace last week, but honestly, I think they just let their guard down after the pure euphoria of beating United and Stoke. On the flip side, Burnley has basically snatched the "relegation candidate" crown from Leicester after just six weeks. They’re dead last in the league, 0-3-3, having scored a pathetic single goal while giving up eight (1:8), and their only "tough" matchup was a scoreless draw against United. Getting absolutely dismantled 4-0 by West Brom last round really highlighted how limited Burnley is offensively; they don't have any standout individual talent, and their collective play is lacking too. To make matters worse, they’ve been hit hard by injuries to key starters: Vokes and Ings—their top two strikers—are out, along with Taylor, Marney, Jones, and Chalobah. I seriously doubt a team as stripped-down as Burnley can pose any kind of threat to a high-quality Leicester side on the road.

Man. Man Utd vs West Ham - Both Teams to Score at 1.75 (BTTS+ @ 2.00)
over 2.5 at 1.50 (2-1)

United absolutely blew their lead after being up 3-1 against Leicester on the road last week, eventually collapsing in a 5-3 loss. Look, the attack did its job, but that defense—which basically relies on Blackett, Evans, and Rafael—has been an absolute disaster class. And today? They’re even more stripped bare. No Blackett because of the red card, plus they're missing Evans, Jones, Carrick, and Young... It's a mess. The backline today is looking like Rafael, Blind, Fletcher, and Rojo—none of them are actual center-backs! Honestly, I think any team in this league can find the net against United, if not more, but then again, United’s firepower is just insane right now. With guys like Di Maria, Mata, Herrera-Falcao, Rooney, and van Persie, the Red Devils' attack is essentially a cheat code. They’ve dropped 7 goals in their last two matches since this squad formed, but they also let in 5. On the other side, West Ham just took down Liverpool at home last week, showed massive intent going forward, and look like they're ready to fight for the top tier of the table. Downing is the engine room for this squad and he’s in incredible form, and you’ve got Valencia, Sakho, Song, and the rest who can punish a shambolic United defense like this any day of the week. The odds for both teams to score are better value than the over 2.5, even though there's a chance United just shuts them out and puts 3 past them. West Ham has scored 9 in their last 4 league games, all of which ended with BTTS and 4 total goals. In their last 5 head-to-head meetings, it’s been over every single time and BTTS every single time, and in the last 8, we've seen the over 5 times.

Slaven Belupo vs Dinamo - Dinamo +2 at 1.65 (0-0)
Dinamo is on an absolute tear in Europe and the domestic league right now. They fought their way into the Europa League with two wins over Petrolul, and then dismantled Astra 5-1 in the EL (their first group stage win in a European competition in four years!), and they even grabbed a 2-1 win in that derby away to Rijeka to push themselves to +4 over them. They’ve won 9 of their last 10 matches, with only one draw. Slaven is sitting dead last in the league with just 7 points from 9 rounds (2-1-6) and a goal difference of 6:20. Sure, they managed to string together two wins—beating Osijek 2-0 in the league and smashing local third-tier side Zrinski 5-1 in the cup—but they are still in a terrible spot. Before that run, they lost four straight league games against the spread, and when they didn't lose, they couldn't even find the back of the net. Early in the season, they beat the weak stuff like Osijek, an unrecognizable Istra (1-1), and the newly promoted Chicago (3-2), but they’ve lost against every serious contender in the league by the handicap, and I fully expect them to do the same against Dinamo. Chicago has won 14 straight matchups against them, 10 of those covering the spread. Their last 5 trips to Koprivnica have all resulted in a 2-goal margin or better.

Villarreal vs Real Madrid - Real Madrid 2 at 1.70 (0-2)
Over 2.5 at 1.60

I don't think there's much left to say about Real Madrid. They finally found their rhythm, and Ronaldo is on a tear—scoring 8 goals in his last 3 matches (and 7 of those came in the last 2)! He accounts for 8 of Real's 18 goals. Villarreal is sitting at 2-2-1, having only lost to Barca, but they haven't really faced a true heavyweight yet. It’s true that Real hasn't had much of a challenge either (Basel, Deportivo, Elche), but honestly, I wouldn't bother with the handicap; just take the straight win. I was expecting lower odds on Real, so 1.70 actually looks really juicy to me. Villarreal has that young Russian Cheryshev out on loan from Real, and apparently, the visitors were asking for another $200k just to let him play today, but it doesn't look like that deal is happening, so Villarreal will be missing a key piece. Real is at full strength, and in their last 6 head-to-heads, they’ve taken 4 wins and 2 draws, scoring 17 and conceding only 8. Given how high-octane this is, you could also jump on the over 2.5 at decent odds since it's Real we're talking about.

P.S. Bryan Adams6, that info on the Argentinians was top-tier. I'll be keeping a close eye on that... hopefully it hits. 🙂

dustysurfer21 beat me to the punch by placing a bet on the Dinamo game, but since I already sat down to write this analysis, you might as well have 😍

Rijeka vs. Dinamo, double chance X2 at 1.60
Draw or Away win at 2.80 (1-2)

Rijeka has climbed straight out of the gutter to pull off two back-to-back seasons in the Europa League, and they haven't lost a home game in nearly two years. They’ve turned into a seriously respectable squad ever since Vopli took over, but let's be real—that's largely because the big bosses basically handed them half a dozen players from Dinamo (guys like Krstanović, Kramarić, Tomečak...) who would have left Rijeka looking like a much weaker side. The shady dealings between Mišković and Mamić are an open secret, and honestly, fixing games and handing out points in the swamp of American soccer has become a routine part of the process. Rijeka is sitting just one point behind Dinamo after eight rounds, which means if they pull this off today, they leapfrog into first place. Zdravko essentially gifted his coastal buddies the Super Cup at the start of the season, handed them the Cup last year, and has been tossing them points at their home stadium more than a few times now. Today is the day where, if nothing else, Rijeka simply cannot beat Dinamo. If we were judging strictly on pure quality and current form, this looks like a draw or an away win, but given how invincible Rijeka has been at home for such a long stretch, I'd approach this with a healthy dose of caution. On one hand, Rijeka suffered an unexpected 2-0 loss to Standard in the EL, while Dinamo came out with an unexpectedly massive 5-1 victory against Astra (their first group stage win in European competition in over four years). Soudani and Čop are absolutely flying right now, even if the defense remains predictably shaky. Even if Rijeka plays at 100% today and refuses to give Dinamo an inch (which, frankly, I highly doubt), I think the squad from the capital can walk away without a loss. The odds on the double chance are great, and the odds on the away win are even better.
