I guess adding another $33 shouldn't be an issue, I'll check with him. From what I can see, we're talking maybe 6-7 fps difference—honestly, whether that's worth it or not? Who knows.

I was talking about Robert Taylor
Nice, nice. But why skip the R9 280x if you've still got $100 some extra cash left over?
I can't tell if this is aimed at me or Robert Taylor.
What's the big deal, haha?

Once you've got some extra cash, grab one more 4GB stick of this RAM and you'll have a beast of a machine!
Not sure how much you actually know about this stuff—you've only got 40 posts, so take that with a grain of salt. Anyway, what would an Intel build with 8GB of RAM look like for the same price?
Hey everyone.
A buddy of mine is looking to pick up a gaming PC for $2000. Since I’m totally out of my element here, I figured I’d let you pros build him a solid list. He doesn't need a mouse, keyboard, or monitor, he isn't planning on any overclocking, and he won't be needing an SSD.
Thanks!
