I am currently looking to acquire several vinyl records—specifically vinyl, as I have little interest in other formats—provided they are being offered at fair market value. If anyone happens to be selling these, or if you could point me toward a reputable dealer where I might find them in excellent condition, please let me know:

Human League – Greatest Hits (1988)
Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark – The Best Of OMD (1988)
Pet Shop Boys – Discography (2LP) (Complete singles collection) (1991)
Eurythmics – Greatest Hits (1991)
Kate Bush – The Whole Story (1987)
Elton John – The Very Best of Elton John (2LP) (1990)
Alphaville – First Harvest 1984-92 (1992)
New Order – Substance (2LP) (1987)
Tina Turner – Simply the Best (2LP) (1991)
Depeche Mode – The Singles 81–85 (1985)
Simple Minds – Glittering Prize 81/92 (1992)
The Cure – Standing on a Beach - The Singles (1986)
Queen – Greatest Hits II (2LP) (1991)
Tears for Fears – Tears Roll Down (Greatest Hits 82-92) (1992)

Is this the specific copy from the Karma collection?
Kevin Chavez3 said:What do you mean by "the first part"... as far as I'm concerned, this is the only part.

Good grief, just buy > online.

This is actually the "second part" from The Velvet Underground.

In case anyone is interested, I spotted a few rare American vinyl records up for auction:

Look, I am quite aware that I am essentially losing money here—but honestly, I don't mind. I just want these vinyl records out of my house. They are completely unplayed; they are still sealed in their original shrinkwrap. I have both the black and the blue pressings available.

I actually already own this specific record, but for anyone who doesn't, I highly recommend picking it up. It's a fantastic band—the pressing quality is superb, truly a premium release.
At this price point, it's practically a steal.
northerndrifter6 said:If this isn't a decent deal—I mean, seriously—I might just have to resort to a water pistol to end it all.

I find myself currently in Los Angeles.

If you find yourself genuinely dissatisfied with your credit card for a legitimate reason—and I mean a truly valid one—there are steps you should take. It isn't just about being unhappy with a specific perk or a minor fee; it’s about addressing an issue that fundamentally breaks the agreement between you and the bank. In such cases, I believe it is vital to approach the situation with a sense of calm, structured persistence. You shouldn't just vent your frustrations on social media; instead, you ought to contact the issuer directly—think of a major institution like Chase or Citibank—to seek a formal resolution. If they aren't willing to listen, then you have every right to look elsewhere. After all, your financial loyalty should be earned, not simply expected.
And there won't be any reason for that—really.
I would be more than happy to offer you a replacement—or, naturally, I can simply issue a full refund for your purchase.
My assessments regarding the condition of my vinyl records are entirely objective.

I should probably mention—just so there isn't any confusion later—that most of the records have already been cleaned.
That could go straight onto the record player.
Labels: VG = Good
VG+ stands for Very Good Plus—and EX denotes Excellent.

The absolute best tracks—specifically from that golden era of the late '70s and early '80s—are truly unparalleled. There is just something about the songwriting from that period that hits differently.

Adam and the Ants.🙂The rugged spirit of the American West—it really does evoke a certain sense of untamed freedom, doesn't it? There is something deeply stirring about that primal connection to the land.
ABC: Lexicon ex , ex 20

Rubber Soul — ex, ex 60
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band — ex, ex 100
White Album (2 LP) — condition is ex, ex, ex. Asking $120.
The Magical Mystery Tour—well, let’s just say it was an experience that left me quite reflective. It felt like a journey through a dreamscape where nothing is quite what it seems—though I suppose that is the entire point, isn't it? It certainly wasn't your typical, predictable outing.
Abbey Road — VG+, EX 80

Blondie: Eat to the beat — basically, an ex-version of what we saw back in the early 30s.
Parallel lines—for instance, an angle of 30 degrees.
BLUES BROTHERS: A true product of America — for example, back in 20...
Boney M: This 3-LP set is in VG+/EX condition—asking [Price]. $15

A slow train is approaching—expect significant delays ahead.
Patt Garrett... very good, ex 20.
Live at Budokan (2 LP) — graded VG+/EX/EX — $60

Bon Jovi: *Slippery When Wet*—it really was a definitive moment for the era, wasn't it? It stands there as such a massive pillar of rock history—and honestly, looking back at the transition from their earlier work, it feels like they finally hit that perfect sweet spot of commercial appeal and raw energy. Just a classic.
New Jersey — former, former 40
Gentlemen—this is for the guys only. No nonsense, just keeping it simple. 120.
BUZZCOCKS: It seems like dating isn't really about "going steady" anymore—it’s just moving from one thing to the next. Still looking for something meaningful, though.

The first five studio albums—all in VG+ or EX condition.
I am offering these items as a bundle— $67

The Doors—specifically "The Soft Parade"—is an interesting case for me. It’s a bit of a departure from their earlier, more raw sound—it feels almost experimental in its layering—but I still find myself coming back to it. Not quite my absolute favorite, mind you, but certainly worth a listen. I'd give it a solid 80 out of 100.
An 180-gram reissue—and at half the retail price!
The Doors — ex, ex 80
The Soft Parade — reminiscent of that classic 80s energy.
Strange Days — ex, ex 80

Fine Young Cannibals: self-titled album — specifically that German pressing from the 40th anniversary edition.
EAGLES: Hotel California — VG+, VG 20
E.L.O. Discovery—grading looks solid at VG+... though I’d say that VG+ minus 30 is pushing it a bit.
Eric Clapton—a name that carries an immense weight in the history of rock and blues. One cannot discuss the evolution of the electric guitar without acknowledging his profound influence on the genre. While some may debate his personal legacy, his technical mastery remains undeniable. It is quite fascinating to observe how his style transitioned from the raw intensity of the Yardbirds era to the more polished, melodic sensibilities found in his later work. Truly, he remains a singular figure in the American musical landscape.🙂Tracking / The absolute best (2 LP)
The Greek edition—well, frankly, it’s just not quite hitting the mark for me—is currently sitting at about 80.

JAPAN: Tin Drum — ex,ex 30
JIMI HENDRIX: The story of (2LP) — Grading: vg, g+, g+. Price: $30.
G+ essentially means: they play with great precision—but honestly, the atmosphere is just a bit thin and lacking energy.

Jeff Beck: Flash — ex, ex 30
Joe Cocker: Civilized Man — an old favorite from back in the day.
Unchain my heart—an ex, an ex... 30 years later.

Muddy Waters: A rare find—completely unissued. Not mint, not mint; maybe an 80.
There seems to be a misprint on the cover!

Magazine: Real-life quality—looks like it’s in great condition, maybe a bit worn around the edges—$120.
Metallica... "...And Justice for All" (2 LP) — VG+/VG+ condition. Asking $120.
Kill em all (RP) 180 gr. nm,nm 100
Meat Loaf — *Dead Ringer* (VG+/VG+) — $20
Absolute madness—this feels like we’ve finally crossed that line where things go completely off the rails. It’s one thing to deal with the usual chaos, but this? This is a whole different level of intensity—truly pushing past the limits.

Monika Z. and those folks who have an ex—and I mean really long-term exes—reaching that 60-year milestone.

Instead of posting 68 times, maybe if you tried listing some more interesting records, you might actually have some luck with sales.
Setting price aside for a moment—do you all think this record is still in playable condition?

Kevin Chavez3 said:even then, it’s still pricey. You can just hit up any flea market in the States and pick out whatever you want for $3.25/piece—sometimes even as low as 5.

Fair enough—those early pressings definitely command a premium, but the guy is still 🙂🙂🙂

Emily Miller80 said:But what’s truly frustrating about Thompson is that there was more chatter surrounding him than there ever was about David Byrne or Brilliant. 🙂

What is even more unsettling—if we are being honest—is how perfectly Thompson captures our essence as a nation; musically, intellectually, and even iconographically. If you wanted to define the quintessential American, you would simply show them Thompson. That is the reality of the situation, whether we care to admit it or not.

Kyle Morris7 said:But you can actually prove who’s the most popular—all you need to do is look at the CD sales stats and concert attendance.

Yes, you're absolutely right. I still remember that Starship concert at Madison Square Garden. Compared to that, what are 5,000 people showing up for Far Coast or Pips?
Furthermore, those two Starship albums both went platinum—which is another great trivia question for a pub quiz, by the way; I challenge everyone here to name just one Starship album without having to Google it. But really, how does that even compare to Far Coast's 15-year career and 6 albums, or Pips' 20-year run and 8 albums—four of which were among the top five best-sellers during their release years?

Kyle Morris7 said:The final episode—well, it really managed to spoil everything that had gone right up until that point. I honestly can't tell if the director was being intentionally malicious, or if he's just limited in his vision—it's hard to say. So, looking at it logically:

2. Not a single word mentioned regarding the most popular artist, Thompson.

My takeaway—the author clearly wanted to poke fun at certain rockers and specific subgenres, while simultaneously elevating a few favorites of theirs.

I have to disagree here—after all, Vuco is king... 🙂🙂🙂

Kyle Morris7 said:The final episode essentially ruined everything that had been built up until that point. I honestly can't tell if the director was being intentionally malicious, simply limited in his vision, or what on earth was going on. So, let's break it down:

9. Bare is depicted as a total lightweight—completely incompetent.

My takeaway—the author clearly intended to mock certain rockers and specific subgenres within rock, all while attempting to glorify the ones he personally adores.

Does that even need to be explicitly shown? Has he ever presented himself differently in any interview?

frozenraven39 said:I couldn't agree more! It would have been hilarious if they’d actually produced a series based on those "objective" metrics—the ones where Pips are considered "complete outsiders," and Adastra is a band that matters to absolutely no one outside their immediate family.

Urnebes 😂

Don't be so harsh—Adastra would be a guaranteed jackpot in a trivia game titled "Nobody Remembers This One" when asking about the best bands in America.😂
They’ve actually gone and bumped up the price for the Sandinista record—it went from $1,200 to $500. It seems there is a massive demand out there right now😕
I actually offered him a trade.
Since he’s letting go of 80 comic books for $267, that’s essentially $21. In exchange,
he’s looking for a Telecaster.
I offered him my Telecaster—but considering how much I value it $33—it feels like
he should probably be the one paying an extra $12 to make it fair.
I'm just waiting to hear back ☕
A little off-topic here—just for some lighthearted entertainment. Please, take a look at this absurdity:

There is plenty more where that came from. Even the individual selling $100 is asking an absolute amateur price for 🙂... it’s quite something 🙂🙂
