Popping or clicking sensation in my chest in Health ·
I dealt with this exact issue a few years back, and let me tell you, it was an absolute marathon—we’re talking months of pure misery. There were stretches where the pain was so debilitating I could barely move, let alone perform basic movements like bringing my arms together in front of my chest.

It turns out I was dealing with what's known as sternum pain. I managed to trigger it by overdoing it during some ring dips at the local gym; I went way too deep with far too many reps and, predictably, managed to strain a ligament or something similar in the process.

Eventually, I managed to fully resolve the problem through a lot of swimming. I spent my summers at the lake and my winters at the local pool, using the water to basically rehabilitate myself, which worked wonders because today I am completely pain-free. I can tackle any exercise, including those same damn ring dips, as if nothing ever happened, despite how excruciatingly painful everything used to be.
Hopefully, this bit of info helps someone else out there.
Magnesium supplements in Health ·
I’ve been reading up on the idea that magnesium is significantly more effective when applied topically as an oil, given how much better the absorption rate supposedly is. Specifically, I'm looking at Magnesium Chloride gel. It isn't exactly breaking the bank, but honestly, between all the synthetic additives and the actual natural components in the formula, I find myself feeling a bit uncertain; perhaps someone with a bit more practical experience could shed some light on the specifics. As for those effervescent tablets, I’ve seen it mentioned quite frequently online that they aren't actually worth drinking.
I experience this myself—not constantly, mind you, but frequently enough that I can say the sensation you described above is spot on. Unfortunately, I haven't quite cracked the code on why it happens. It’s almost like a sort of micro-meditation, except instead of achieving that blissful state of empty-headedness, you find yourself thinking even harder.
