Does anyone happen to know how the ordering process works at Aviano, and what kind of pricing they typically have there?
My mother is 57. She had surgery for colon cancer four years ago, and everything seemed fine until about 11 months ago when her routine checkup revealed liver metastases. Since then, she’s completed 12 rounds of chemo and has been on Avastin. While one large lesion has actually shrunk a bit, some new small ones have appeared on the liver, so we are considering seeking a second opinion in either New York City or at Aviano. She generally feels okay and seems to be handling the whole ordeal fairly well.
