Robert Cooper60 said:do you guys think—since we've only had about five people show up for the last two games
do you feel like we need to go out there against Miami and defend some kind of honor? I don't even know what—the club's reputation, the supporter groups, whatever else

or do you think we need at least 300 people there, or will this derby still be enough to show those guys over there—or us over here—who actually runs this territory?

🤷 man, football is just crazy--talk about a headache

Personally, I can't make it
and my take—which a few of my buddies share, too—is that nobody really should have to go. But hey, if people decide to go, then they go, and whatever happens, happens!
If I were going, I’d probably hang out in the upper deck, maybe under the west stands or somewhere organized—just so those jerks see that there's actually a bigger crowd outside the stadium than inside it. We could drop some loud chants and some pointed messages and all that
but look, I'm not the one calling the shots, so seriously, don't listen to me 🙂

Quick side note—I wasn’t sure where else to drop this, but honestly, given how many random posts pop up here anyway, this fits right in!

Does anyone know that "voice" you hear at Yankee Stadium? You know, that guy who’s been reading all the ads and announcements for years now.
Seriously, if anyone has a photo or—even better—a video clip, please post it! I’m dying to know what this guy actually looks like, haha.
I just can't wrap my head around what that "voice" would look like in real life.😁

Benjamin Thomas2 said:I’ve seen a ton of games over the years—plenty of them—but I honestly can’t remember the last time I felt this good after a match like we did against San Diego. I spent a few days just mulling it over, trying to figure out why, and the reason is actually pretty simple: the Bad Boys won. They didn't let down the fans, the local legends, Mamić, the sponsors, the authorities, the security lists, or any of the drama. Even after everything, you had over 500 people standing out in the rain on a Holy Saturday for a game that wasn't even a big deal, just singing for 90 minutes straight.
Everyone who felt that Bad Boys energy—whether they were 10 or 55, tough or soft, broke or successful, left or right—they all felt it. If anyone needs convincing, just show up at the East Side gates this Friday at 6 PM; consider it an obligation. After that game, I know everyone’s going to be glad they showed up—especially after that song that summed up the whole Bad Boys story perfectly: despite everything, we're still here, and we aren't kneeling for anybody.

Yeah, you could really feel something special at this game... and seeing the crew singing their hearts out at the East exit? That was it! Pure magic!! 🙂

we should probably wear more scarves next time

Cheers
