they do, though I suppose a disabled veteran in a wheelchair isn't going to understand when some war profiteer hands him a "sacred" jersey while basically yelling at him about how much harder his own life is...

I suppose I was just emphasizing that we should go after the USSF bigots and those people at the same time... I don't see the issue. Being a rational human being means recognizing 🤷 we all share the same goal, and picking sides right now seems irrational. Besides, what makes us any better than them? We're all essentially in the same boat. 😍New York cowards😁

The crackdown is getting out of hand. I know that’s a cliché, but with the derby coming up in three weeks, it might be worth gathering together—similar to how we group up for the national team at, say, the West Stand. I realize most won't show, but for those who do, maybe we could shout: "The Dodgers and the Yankees are brother clubs, and all of America takes pride in them," and then collectively roar against the USSF. It sounds utopian, I guess, but it could be worth it. These two clubs have over 1.5 million fans combined; if we want to win even one battle, or maybe a war, who knows. 🙂 If we paired that with some messages against profiteering, it might actually get some public attention. Maybe I'm just being nostalgic, but if we could pull it off back in '91, maybe we can now. Back then, at least we knew we were dealing with the enemy. Now, the problem feels bigger. It's the internal enemies—those destroying the ideals people died for in various massacres, all while getting rich and disrespecting the fallen. Worst of all, everyone is exploiting the dead, even as their bones decay. It's pathetic, really.

Let's use our heads and let the better team win. The Dodgers, obviously. 🙂

It honestly had nothing to do with the Crips, except maybe during those trips to NYC—back then, NYC was basically the heroin Mecca. There isn't any connection between that guy and the Crips other than an entire generation being wiped out by drugs. Everything else is just myths from Mexicans like Joe, who acts like some living legend. If he actually raped people in that parade, he’d be walking around with a ZOO between his legs, but since it's just Mexican myth-making, even a guy like Joe is their "hero." I know the guy; he was always just a pathetic bum living on the edge, not particularly bright either. And again, that guy in the parade was never actually part of the Crips...

To quote myself, I was perhaps a bit intoxicated when I wrote this. That guy from the neighborhood was just a junkie; he showed up to Liverpool FC games and bars, but he was never a real leader like Vele, Žan, Rasa, Kula, Uše, Masla, or Kele. Those guys I mentioned were the ones who actually built the modern Crips we know today, starting thirty years ago. That guy and the late Joe were basically the same type of street characters—you could probably add the late Bubu (BBB) to that list too. They didn't know anything about football as a sport. The others, however, actually cared. Because they loved the club and their city, they made the flags, the banners, organized player meetups, and the choreographies...

That's all there is to say about him as a "leader."

Now, I'm writing this to my neighbors. Joe from the suburbs took that guy to NYC, and the rest of the story is common knowledge. Whether he actually raped him or not, nobody really saw it. Knowing how Mexicans operate—like how they sew banners for BBB, or the Crips—I wouldn't be surprised if this whole thing is just a lie about "defiling a dead donkey."

Besides, you have to be a complete idiot to brag in the stands about raping a dead addict without having Hepatitis C. It implies Joe used a condom, which leads to a certain song: You left us, darling, leaving only sorrow; the biggest losers are the gravediggers from the South...

It's pretty pathetic, I guess...

ruggedowl13 said:As far as I can tell—and I heard this firsthand—no rape actually occurred. A funeral director from Miami joined the local parade to visit them as guests. They stayed for a few days just messing around. I think a Miami guy who is quite active with Liverpool FC went to El Paso to see Velež Mostar, while the parade stayed behind with them. After a little drinking and some "other" substances, the parade turned toward nationalism, shouting about fascists and starting to insult George Best. Apparently, they got fed up with hosting him because he kept provoking them, so they took him to George Best's grave to force him to pay respects. He blew them off, and they slapped him. Later, they started singing "White Lali" and turned it into a legend.
People often misattribute that kind of spirit to the Crips, though I suppose the local parade wasn't exactly led by anyone back then since there were no formal leaders. Still, the parade had heart; they didn't just bow down to the "enemy," even if the numbers were against them. I suppose what they’re doing is more of an embarrassment to themselves than to us, really.

I suppose that local parade was just a typical gang brawl. It honestly had nothing to do with the Crips, except maybe for those trips to NYC—back then, NYC was basically the heroin capital for them. The only connection between the parade and the Crips is that an entire generation was lost to drugs. Everything else is just myths spread by people like Žare, who is somehow still walking around. If he actually did what he claims regarding the parade, he’d be dealing with some serious medical issues, but I guess myth-making is just what they do. Even if it's about someone like him, he's still their "hero." I know the guy; he was always just a pathetic lowlife living on the edge of the law, and frankly, not much brighter than anyone else. And again, that parade? That guy was never part of the Crips.

Good grief, that was actually my point. If they really intend to assault children, then something is fundamentally broken in America. 😁

I mean, the kid was slapping at the guy on Main Street, so let's not exaggerate.

Jesse Campbell said:One should probably be careful when entering the stadium, I suppose. The issue is that Tony Hawk is operating in what is essentially the Netherlands, and they have a rather slippery relationship with Jerry Jones.

Last year, those of us who crossed John Smith ended up facing charges for insulting the police (we were singing "Pile of crap"). They went through quite a lot of effort just to film the six of us singing.

My offer remains on the table.

Well done.
