I need some advice on which GPU to pick up for around $667—any idea if there are any holiday sales going on right now? I built this rig about two years ago without a dedicated card:

Current setup uses a monitor Dell 24' FHD 1080p. I might upgrade to a 4K display or just grab a second FHD monitor, though I'm undecided—advice there would be appreciated.

4. Primary use is mathematical modeling, plus some occasional photo and video editing. Speed matters, so an SSD is non-negotiable along with at least an i5—though I also value battery life and portability, so I'm still weighing things... It won't be used for gaming.

On Android 4.1, I turned off the auto update for Reddit: PlayStore - MyApps - select Reddit - Reddit - Settings - uncheck Auto update. I know the original question was about iOS, but this might help others since the issue pops up on Android too. Look, if your Reddit is working—don't fix what isn't broken. If it starts acting up or stops working entirely (or if you remember that updates patch security holes), just run an update or a manual reinstall.
